TOUR ITINERARY
Day 1 / 09 Jan, 25 Christchurch (1 Night)
‘Mumbai to Mumbai Tour’ guests will report at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport,
Mumbai as per the scheduled flight departure time and proceed to Christchurch – a city located
on the east coast of the New Zealand’s South Island known for its English Heritage and gardens.
Upon arrival, Veena World Tour Manager will guide all guests for airport formalities and proceed to transit hotel stay at
Christchurch.

Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will join the group on their own. The transfer charges to reach the designated place or
hotel will be borne by the (J&L) guests.

After breakfast, we visit International Antarctic Centre to experience a taste of this unique continent and learn about the
human impact on the wildlife as well as plant system of Antarctica. Here we get a chance to experience real snow, ice as well
as an indoor Antarctic storm. Later we visit Willow Bank Wildlife Reserve which has public displays of various animal species
including Tuatara, Kiwi, Brown Teal and Duvaucel's gecko.

Day 2 / 10 Jan, 25 Christchurch – Arthur’s Pass – Fox Glacier/Franz Josef Glacier (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Fox Glacier – a town tucked into the forested foothills of southern Alps. We enjoy a scenic
drive on The Great Alpine Highway. Witness the charming historic towns and dramatic landscapes during the drive.
En route we pass through one of the highest and most spectacular pass across the Southern Alps – Arthur’s Pass.

Day 3 / 11 Jan, 25 Fox Glacier / Franz Josef Glacier – Wanaka – Queenstown (3 Nights)
Today we enjoy a helicopter ride (subject to weather condition) which offers exceptional views. Later we proceed
to Queenstown – a city that sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic
Southern Alps, renowned for adventure sports is the birthplace of bungee jumping. En route we visit Puzzling
world – featuring a multi-level outdoor maze, optical illusion rooms and a cafe with table puzzles at Wanaka.

Day 4 / 12 Jan, 25 Queenstown – Milford Sound – Queenstown


Today we visit Milford sound – a UNESCO World Heritage site, is a stunning natural attraction in Fiordland National Park with
its magical combination of mountain peaks, ink-dark waters and superb dramatic forest-clad cliffs. En route we see Te Anau
Lake – largest glacial lake in southern New Zealand, Mirror Lakes – set of lakes with lovely reflections of the Earl Mountains
lying just north to the Te Anau Lake, Knobs Flat, Cascade Creek, Lake Furgus, Holyford Valley Lookout, Monkey creek,
Hummer Tunnel and Chasm Waterfall. Upon arrival we embark on scenic Milford sound cruise and sail through mesmerizing
landscapes of Fiordland National Park to view vistas of Mitre Peak – one of the most photographed peaks in New Zealand.
Later we stroll around Queenstown waterfront area.

Day 5 / 13 Jan, 25 Queenstown


Today we visit bungee jumping point on Kawarau River and take a stroll around Arrow Town -
historic gold mining town in the Otago region of the South Island of New Zealand. Later we board
skyline gondola ride to visit Bob Peak which offers amazing view of Queenstown. In the afternoon we
experience thrills of Jet Boat Ride in Kawarau River and take photo stop at backdrop of Lake Wakatipu.

Day 6 / 14 Jan, 25 Queenstown – Christchurch (1 Night)


Today we proceed to Christchurch. En route we explore Lake Pukaki – a startling turquoise
blue water lake amongst foothills of Mt Cook & Southern Alps And Lake Tekapo area.
Upon arrival at Christchurch, we visit Cardboard Cathedral – built using Cardboard tubes, timber and steel and designed by
the Japanese architect Shigeru Ban.

Day 7 / 15 Jan, 25 Christchurch – Auckland – Rotorua (2 Nights)


Today we fly to Auckland – a diverse, multicultural and cosmopolitan city, home to the largest Polynesian
population in the world offering diverse landscapes, lush native rainforest, stunning beaches and natural
wonders. Upon arrival, we proceed to Rotorua – known for its bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers, natural hot
springs and fascinating Maori culture. En route, we visit Hobbiton Movie Set – located on a sprawling 1250-acre
cattle farm near Auckland served as shooting location for Lord of the Rings movie trilogy and Hobbiton trilogy.

Day 8 / 16 Jan, 25 Rotorua


Today we enjoy the Maori show – Maori are the indigenous people of New Zealand Aotearoa, they perform
traditional arts of Maori culture. Let’s experience Maori culture's close connection with nature and New
Zealand, you can also click pictures with the performers. Later we visit a Te Puia / Whakarewarewa Thermal
Reserve – showcasing bubbling mud pools, shooting geysers and natural hot springs. We then enjoy the Sheep
Shearing Show at Agrodome – here you are introduced to 19 breeds of sheep and witness a live sheep shearing
demonstration, you’ll learn the remarkable story of New Zealand and discover the full process of wool making.

Day 9 / 17 Jan, 25 Rotorua – Auckland (1 Night)
Today we proceed to Auckland. En route we visit Waitomo Glowworm Caves – an ancient natural cave.
Here we take a boat ride through the glowworm grotto, marvel at thousands of magical glowworms.

Day 10 / 18 Jan, 25 Auckland – Departure to Hometown


Today we explore Auckland city we see Harbour Bridge – an eight-lane motorway bridge over the Waitemata Harbour,
Westhaven Marina – home to over 2,000 boats including privately owned yachts and launches making it one of
the biggest marinas in the world, Queen Street – once a dirty canal leading out to sea, today is the heart of central
business district (CBD) and a shopper’s paradise, Auckland Waterfront – a true gem in the Heart of the city. Later
we visit the Auckland Sky Tower Observatory Deck – the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere,
standing tall at 328 meters as an icon of Auckland's sky line for 20 years, enjoy the breath-taking views of the city.

It’s time now to say goodbye, Phir Milenge!

Tour guests will proceed to the airport as per their scheduled group flight departure time and start their journey back home.
Joining and Leaving (J&L) tour guests will leave the group after the scheduled program. The transfer charges to reach their
respective airport/cruise/rail/bus terminal will be borne by the (J&L) guests.

Airline:
On group tours, we generally fly with airlines that are group-friendly.
Group tours are based on economy class, if you wish to travel by Premium Economy / Business Class / First Class, we can
arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
During your air travel, refreshments and meals are provided as per the airline policy. However, we recommend you to carry
dry snacks of your choice for the flight journey.

Transport:
For transfers and sightseeing we use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the respective tour
group size.
The seating arrangement in the coach is based on booking priority. Seat numbers 1 & 2 are reserved for Tour Managers and
Tour Guides. Seat numbers 3 & 4 are reserved as Prime Seats which can be availed by paying an additional cost.
If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the vehicle, we can arrange the
same at an additional cost subject to availability.

Sightseeing attraction:
Given the current dynamic situation, some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior
notice. Sometimes due to rush or changes in the reservation system, entrance to the sightseeing attractions may be
unavailable; in such cases, every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing place if possible or refund of the entry
fee will be given.

Hotels:
The hotels on tour are comfortable and have been appreciated by Veena World’s guests in the past. The category of hotels
on international tours is a mix of three-star, three-star superior, and basic four-star. Kindly check your respective hotels
before booking your tour.

Room Sharing:
Sometimes, two single unfamiliar travellers (gender - alike) share a room, should read the instruction paper along with the
terms & conditions and abide by the same.

Meals:
On tour, we provide all meals, from day one to the last day, as mentioned in the itinerary.

In case of early arrival or late departure due flight timings, guests will be provided an additional meal/s without any extra
cost.
In case of connecting flights, if the transit time exceeds beyond five hours, guests will be provided with a meal/meal coupon.
Generally, meals are provided in the restaurants. On certain occasions, packed meals will be provided for the ease of
itinerary operation/sightseeing.
Breakfasts are generally continental on European tours, whereas, lunches and dinners are Indian OR Indian along with a
local dish OR local cuisine, OR at times fast food meals from Subway, McDonald’s, etc.

Visa:
Veena World takes maximum tourists from India to Australia New Zealand through group tours, customised holidays and
corporate tours (MICE).
Every month Veena World Visa Facilitation Team of 80+ members assist thousands of our guests for visa documentation, visa
application, visa submission to VAC/VFS/ consulate, collection of passports from the VAC/VFS/ consulate on guest’s behalf
wherever applicable. However, all guests should be aware of the fact that ‘issuance or granting of visa to any guest’ is at the
sole discretion of respective country’s consulates/embassy.
Veena World does not play any role in the actual granting of the visa. Veena World cannot be held responsible for delay or
rejection of the visa by the respective consulate. In the rare event of a visa delay or rejection, cancellation charges will be
applicable as per the cancellation policy of Veena World.
We request all our guests to start the visa application process well in advance or immediately after the tour booking.
Certain consulates send the passports directly to the guest’s residential address as per the Visa application form. Guests are
requested to thoroughly check if the visa is granted along with the validity and the status as Single/Double/Multiple entry visa
required for the tour.
Guests who are Joining & Leaving (J&L) or guests already holding a visa or guests who are opting to do the visas on their own
should check if the visa is granted along with the validity and the status as Single/Double/Multiple entry visa required for the
tour.
Deviation guests who are leaving early or returning late than the scheduled tour, should check their visa status/validity
according to their personal programme.

Upgradation on tour:
Flights: Group tours are based on economy class, if you wish to travel by Premium Economy / Business Class / First Class, we
can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.
Cruise: Cruise accommodation is generally in a room with a port hole or a room with a balcony. You can upgrade to higher
category rooms by paying an additional cost subject to availability.
Trains: Train journeys during the tour are in Standard class. You can upgrade to higher category like Standard Premier or
Business Premier by paying an additional cost subject to availability.
Vehicles: For transfers and sightseeing we use small cars / Tempo Travellers / Mini or big coaches depending on the
respective tour group size. If you wish to utilise the vehicle solely for yourself or your family or you would like to upgrade the
vehicle, we can arrange the same at an additional cost subject to availability.

REMARKS
All meals are provided by Veena World in case the flight reaches the stipulated destination early morning or leaves destination late in the
evening.
‘In Case if any sightseeing is not done due to weekly closure, an alternative sightseeing will be done for the same’.
Standard Check-in and check-out time of International hotels is usually 1500hrs and 1200hrs respectively.
Guests may please note that for Domestic flights or internal flights from one city to another city on international tours, the baggage
allowance will be as per the respective airline baggage policy and weight regulations. Guests are requested to pack their belongings and
carry luggage in accordance to the respective airlines baggage allowance. Excess baggage (if any) will be chargeable as per the airline policy
and the same has to be borne by the guest.
