ADULT GENERAL PRICE LIST

These prices are effective March 5, 2020 and are subject to change without notice.

The goods and services shown below are those we can provide to our customers. You may choose only the items you
desire. However, any funeral arrangements you select will include a charge for our basic services and overhead. If legal
or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for we will explain the reason in writing
on the statement we provide describing the funeral goods and services you selected. {Note: We offer Personalized
Service Program Packages. The funeral arranger handling your arrangements will further explain our packages to you.}

Prior to drafting any contract for goods or services, the responsible party or the decedent’s survivor
who is handling the funeral arrangements is entitled to receive a copy of any pre-need agreement in the possession of
the funeral establishment that has been signed and paid for, in full or in part, by or on behalf of the decedent.

BASIC PROFESSIONAL SERVICES OF FUNERAL DIRECTOR AND STAFF.……...……….$1995.00

This is the basic charge to each family for our professional expertise in assisting them. It includes, but is not limited to, a
proportionate share of the taxes, licenses, utilities and business expenses necessary to serve the public in a professional
manner. Personnel available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to the first call. Also included in this charge is
the consultation with the family, clerical and administrative services, electronic or manual filing of death certificate
and/or permit, consultation with the clergy, cemetery, crematory or common carrier, planning the funeral or memorial
service, and placement of obituary notices. There will be an additional charge for the direction and supervision of each
service requested or required. This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral
arrangements you select. (This fee is already included in our charges for direct cremations, immediate burials,
disinterment services and forwarding or receiving remains.)

CARE OF REMAINS

Embalming is not required by law. Embalming may be necessary, however, if you select certain funeral arrangements,
such as a funeral with viewing. If you do not want embalming, you usually have the right to choose an arrangement that
does not require you to pay for it, such as direct cremation or immediate burial. Embalming is a chemical process which
provides temporary preservation of the body and eliminates certain health hazards. A person licensed by the state must
complete this procedure.

We offer many different styles and prices of caskets and alternative containers from which to select. Since many caskets that appear
similar may differ greatly in quality and construction, we offer the following in order to assist you in making an informed decision.
A complete list of caskets offered will be provided with the general price list.
Protective: These caskets are designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water and other outside elements. They may
be constructed of varying gauges of steel, copper or bronze.
Non-Protective: These caskets are not designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water or other outside elements.
They may be constructed of metal, hardwood or other wood products covered with fabric.
Disclaimer of Warranty: The only warranty on the casket or any merchandise sold in connection with this service is the express
written warranty, if any granted by the manufacturer.

VINEYARD CHAPEL SERVICE AND VISITATION OPTIONAL ITEMS

Refreshment Service: $165 per day

Includes: Use of two 6-foot tables with plastic tablecloths, 2 large trashcans, water and coffee for up to
50 guests.

Slideshow Creation: $250/up to 50 photos $325/up to 100 photos

Includes: Memorial Slideshow creation, consultation with technician and coordination of slideshow
with stock music from our library. One DVD copy and one USB flash drive copy of slideshow.
Slideshow Playback included. Photos must be provided to technician no less than 72 hours prior to
service.
Note: $100 Rush fee will apply if photos are brought in less than 72 hours prior to service.

Slideshow Playback: $100

Includes: Cherokee Memorial technician to operate equipment for playback of family created content.
If slideshow is to be played on a loop, staff technician will set up content for playback up to 8 hours. If
more time is desired, add $100 per day.
*Content must be on a USB Flash drive, brought to technician 48 hours prior to service.

Live Streaming Webcast: $200

Includes live stream of funeral service in Vineyard Chapel for the entirety of the service.

Electric Organ Rental: $45

Includes: Electric Organ and chair: Family may supply an organist or when available we can contact
an organist for your service for an additional charge. Cherokee Memorial will set up and take down.

Security and Cleaning Deposits: see below

Signed Vineyard Chapel Rental Agreement required for any event more than 2 hours in duration if
refreshments are present or audio/visual services are used. Deposit due 24 hours prior to services
rendered.
• Event with refreshments and/or audio visual service, up to 8 hours: $350 per scheduled day or event
• Event with refreshments and audio/visual service, up to 8 hours: $500 per scheduled day

 Refreshment Policy

• The Refreshment Cleaning fee does not include plates, serving utensils, or napkins. Please be sure
to bring these items should you need them.

• If you are planning on bringing any ice chests, they must be placed outside the chapel near the front
doors. Ice chests or other beverage containers are not allowed inside the building.

• No food or drink is allowed inside the main Chapel or Visitation rooms. All refreshments must be
kept in the lobby. Food may not be stored in the flower refrigerator.

• There are no kitchen facilities available. Any soiled items such as dishes or utensils must be taken
home for washing.

• Please be prepared to take your refreshments away at the closing time. Cherokee Memorial is not
responsible for any items left at our facilities overnight.

• Please only use the 2 large tables provided for your refreshments, as space is limited.

• Please do not move tables or any other furniture without permission from the Cherokee Memorial
staff.

Audio Visual Policy

• A Cherokee Memorial staff technician presence is required to operate chapel equipment to ensure
proper usage and protection of the system. There may be additional charges for these services.
• The Vineyard Chapel AV Technician is the only person who may operate the audio/visual
equipment, no exceptions. Only Cherokee Memorial staff may enter the A/V booth.
• Outside equipment may not be used on any part of the electronic system or televisions at Cherokee
Memorial unless specifically authorized by the staff technician. Approved equipment consists
ONLY of cellular devices with an audio port, mp3 players, or USB flash drives. Laptop or desktop
computers, video game consoles, outside speakers or microphones are not allowed. The staff
technician will operate provided equipment as designed. Cherokee Memorial is not responsible for
any malfunctions of outside equipment or media.
• Due to the advanced nature of our system, last minute Audio/Visual requests are not allowed.
Please make all of your slideshow/music requests at least 48 hours in advance of your event. Last
minute requests cannot be fulfilled.

Although services may be selected from the itemized portion of the General Price List, the following list of commonly
selected packaged services may help you select the appropriate arrangements. NOTE: The following packages include
only the items specifically listed in that package. Any merchandise or service you select, which is not included in the
package may be additional. The package discount will be applied when the casket is purchased from our
selection room or through one of our catalogs.
