Environmental sustainability has a great impact in preventing global warming

and climate change. A clean-up drive program is a community program that aims to
thoroughly make the community clean, safe, and healthy with the collaboration of
barangay officials, health workers and students.

One of the requirements on CWTS is to perform an outreach activity and we

have proposed different activities and the Barangay Officials of Boliwong have
chosen the clean-up drive activity.

III. OBJECTIVES

This program aims to maintain the cleanliness of the surroundings, protecting

the environment and prevent pollution and diseases within the community.

VI. ACTIVITY DESIGN

There are 15 students from the Psychology Department College of Arts and
Sciences enrolled in NSTP 2-CWTS, 18 barangay officials and 7 barangay health
workers who were going to do the activity.
B. Speakers and Mentor
C. Management Team:
To ensure the maintenance and the finishing of the outreach program activity,
the group will allot half day in the weekend.
D. Methodology:
Clean-up initiatives are organized campaigns that aim to gather and dispose
of litter and rubbish in a particular location. These activities are intended to
foster environmental hygiene, heighten consciousness about waste
management concerns, and motivate community involvement in enhancing
the environment. When the clean-up drive concludes, it is essential to gather
all the accumulated waste and dispose of it appropriately, which may involve
segregating recyclable materials from non-recyclable materials and
transporting the garbage to a designated disposal area.
