Introduction

"Buying and selling have evolved beyond traditional markets in today's fast-paced world." With
the rise of online platforms, the way we buy and sell goods has changed dramatically. Our
project revolves around developing a one-of-a-kind buying and selling platform that caters
specifically to the dynamic world of automobiles. This platform, similar to a digital marketplace,
aims to connect easily buyers and sellers by providing a convenient space to browse, trade, and
connect. The automobile industry plays an important role in our daily lives. Whether you're
buying a new car or selling an old one, the process can be intimidating. Our platform aims to
make this process more user-friendly and efficient for everyone involved.
Convenience is essential in today's digital age. This platform will allow users to browse a wide
range of vehicles, from cars to motorcycles, and will provide detailed information about each
listing. Sellers will have a platform to showcase their vehicles and reach a larger audience, while
buyers will be able to research different options from the comfort of their own homes.

Motivation
Our inspiration for this project comes from the incredible possibilities offered by modern technology,
particularly in the world of buying and selling vehicles. We are inspired to use these advancements to
build a platform that will revolutionize the car trading experience.

Project overview
We strive to create a straightforward and efficient platform where users can easily list their vehicles for
sale and explore available options for purchase. Our goal is to provide a seamless experience that
enhances the way individuals trade cars.

Problem Statement
In the world of car buying and selling, challenges frequently arise due to the complexity of managing
transactions and limited access to a diverse range of vehicles." Traditional methods can be time-
consuming and inefficient in meeting the diverse needs of buyers and sellers.
Objectives
 Create a platform for managing vehicle listings and transactions.
 Use the information gathered to improve decision-making by facilitating better matches between
buyers and sellers and thus improving the trading process.
  Facilitate fair transactions between buyers and sellers to ensure a balanced financial approach.
 Increase the variety of vehicle options available on the platform in order to appeal to a broader
audience.
 Provide users with tools and information, such as detailed specifications and history, to help them
make informed decisions when buying or selling vehicles.
 Improve the platform's usability by allowing users to easily perform transaction-related actions,
ensuring a smooth trading experience for both buyers and sellers.

2. REQUIREMENTS ANALYSIS

2.1 Requirements

Constraints
In order to maintain the reliability and durability of the system, some design and
implementation constraints are applied. Availability of an android app for buying and selling
platform could make the system portable but due to time constraints it is not possible.
System will need a minimum memory of 512MB. But it is recommended to have a memory of
1GB. Following are the constraints when designing interfaces of systems:
Hardware
● Computer 512MB+ RAM, monitor with minimum resolution of 1024x768, keyboard, and
mouse.
● A Laser printer will need to be used to print reports.
● Web-enabled Machine with good internet speed (minimum 300kbps).
● additional 3 gb for backup
Software
● Software is designed to run on any Web browser such as Chrome, Safari etc..
● Computer running Xampp.
