Tenders are invited from interested and eligible bidders for the execution of the following CBC GRADE
9 CLASSROOMS project funded by MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, KPEEL PROGRAMME
Tenderers can obtain a complete set of tender documents from the Head teachers/principals of the
above institutions/schools upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Kenya Shillings One Thousand
(1,000/-) only, either in bankers cheque or cash payable to the schools below during normal working
hours.

Interested tenderers who meet the following mandatory requirements supported by certified copies of
requisite documents at the time of submission will be considered for further evaluation:
1. Certificate of incorporation/Registration
2. Valid National Construction Authority Certificate and valid National Authority Construction
Practicing licence accordingly.
3. KRA Pin Certificate
4. Valid Tax Compliance certificate
5. Updated CR12 showing list of directors
6. The documents must be paginated
7. Duly filled form of quotation.
8. Duly filled certificate of independent quotation determination.
9. Copy of receipt.
10. Bid bond of 5% 0f total contract sum from bank or insurance company valid for 90 days
11. Prepare and submit original and copy (original document should be dropped to the Sub County
Director’s office, Kabiyet)
12. Pre – tender site visit is compulsory
In addition, interested bidders must show proof of the following;
a. Evidence of relevant personnel Academic and professional qualification.
b. Key technical staff to be engaged.
c. Audited accounts for the last 3 years.
d. Bank account in the name of company.
e. Works of similar magnitude and complexity undertaken in the last three years.
N/B. Late tenders will not be accepted.
