Advertisement for the Junior Research Fellow (JRF)
Applications are invited from highly motivated young persons for a Junior Research Fellow
position in a SERB-sponsored CRG project (File No: CRG/2023/007223) as per the details given
below.
Position: Junior Research Fellow (01)
Funding Agency: Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB)
Project Title: Coupled Consolidation study of unsaturated soils- from a numerical perspective
Eligibility Criterion: 1. B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6
CGPA) and having a valid GATE score, or
2. M.E./M.Tech in Civil Engineering (Specialization: Geotechnical Engg.)
with a minimum of 60% marks (or 6 CGPA) and GATE qualified.
Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- per month.
Age Limit: The upper age limit is 28 years as on the last date of the application. Age relaxation
will be applicable as per GOI norms.
Duration of Appointment: Initially for one year but extendable up to 3 years (based on the
performance) or the duration of the project whichever is earlier.
