BEHIND ALL OF IT, GOD ONLY KNOWS
by: Ma. Cristina F. Cabrales

Behind your smile

God only knows the pain of thine heart
Behind your laugh
God only knows there's a tear falling from your eyes
Behind your strong personality
God only knows that you're on bended knees at the middle of the night
Behind your words of encouragement
God only knows that there are times you're breaking down
Behind your faithfulness in the ministry
God only knows the purity and genuineness of your heart
Behind your revived soul
God only knows the condition of it.

WHISPERS OF WANDERLUST A TALE
OF SERENDIPITY
by: Aimee T. Abeto

Aimee was a girl living in the center of a busy city. She

had an unbearable hunger for knowledge, a love of
stories, and was a dreamer at heart.

One faithful day, as Aimee sat in her favorite cafe,

while drinking her favorite coffee, she noticed a
mysterious figure watching her from across the room.
Intrigued, she looked up to meet the gaze of a man
with piercing blue eyes and a mischievous smile.

The man approached Aimee's table with a confident stride and said, "Hello, I couldn't help
but notice your intense focus. I'm Nash, and I couldn't resist the urge to introduce myself to
such a captivating storyteller." As she spoke with Nash, Aimee's curiosity grew because he
was a traveler and a wanderer who had seen the world and experienced adventures beyond
her wildest dreams.

Together, Aimee and Nash embarked on a journey of storytelling and adventure, exploring
the hidden gems of the city and unraveling the mysteries that lay beneath it's surface.

As their bond deepened, Aimee and Nash discovered that they were more than just kindred
spirits they were soulmates, connected by a shared love for the beauty of life and the
power of imagination. Through their friendship, they found solace in each other's presence,
comfort in each other's words, and a sense of belonging in a world that often felt chaotic
and unpredictable.

And so, as the city continued to bustle around them, Aimee and Nash stood together, united
by their shared narrative of friendship, adventure, and the endless possibilities that lay
ahead.

A PRINCESS AND A THIEF
by: Orlaine Grace Divinagracia

Once upon a time, there was a princess

and a thief. One day, while the princess
was sleeping, the thief raided her
refrigerator for food. The princess woke
up and caught the thief in the act,
ordering him to be killed. The thief begged
for forgiveness and the princess ultimately
decided to spare his life.

Sometime later, the princess found herself lost in a forest. The thief
happened to come across her and offered to help her find her way back
to the mansion. The princess accepted his offer and he guided her back
safely. She expressed her gratitude towards the thief for his help.

SOUL OF HEARTS
by: Lance Charisse Jumiller

In the garden of hearts, love blooms, A delicate dance of light

in gloom. With whispers soft as morning dew, Love binds the
broken and the true. Through valleys deep and mountains
high, Love's song echoes across the sky. In every beat of the
heart's embrace, Love finds its home, its sacred space.
Though time may pass and seasons change, Love's flame
forever will remain. In every glance, in every touch, Love's
eternal flame, it is such.

SHADOWS OF LOVE
by: Ashley Nicole Popanes

In my dream's peaceful meadow, where willows mourn,

Your laughter is a tune I secretly keep, and I cherish it.
Golden light streams into my partially closed eyes.
Your outline, a kind ghost in the light of the sun.

From afar, I vestige the arc of your days unseen,

In the gaps between, in the sound of rustling leaves.
You are the quiet murmur in the crisp night air.
A ghostly comfort, ephemeral yet always present.

We were lying beneath the same colossal, starry dome.

Even so, I wish to wander into the valleys that kilometres carve.
My heart always points towards you like a true compass.
My north, my view, amid the dark and the cold.

Yet love, like a river, finds its own way to the sea.
It runs, unrestrained, through untamed, rocky passageways.
And me, a solitary sentinel on this desolate coast,
Love you forever, even though I'm far away.

My love becomes stronger with every day.

Nobody is really sure where it will end up, though.
Maybe in dreams, where time fades gently,
While the universe stirs, our spirits converse in whispers.

A SYMPHONY OF UNFINISHED LOVE: THE
WOMAN WHO CAN'T BE MOVED
by: Jasmin Benignos

There once was a girl, and she was lying on the street corner. Her expression of
melancholy indicates that she is yearning for her beloved's love. She is willing to wait for
him for days, months, or even years because she finds comfort, love, and happiness in
his company.

She's been waiting for him patiently. Because she never left that place, many people
assumed she was homeless, but they had no idea that she was waiting for her true love.
She continues to silently root for him because she believes that they can still mend their
relationship.

In the tapestry of her life, he was the initial stroke of the brush that brightened her
existence. Growing up in the shadows of neglect, he was the beacon of warmth, the one
who knew the art of repairing the fractures within her heart. She cherishes him, not just
for the love he bestowed upon her but for the solace he brought to her soul.

Though fate disagrees with them, their love is so sincere that they believe it will never
cease. She endured not only the caprices of climate but also the storms of sorrow, yet
her resolve remains unyielding, a testament to the enduring power of their affection.

In the back of her mind, their story remains unfinished, a melody cut short before its
climax. The echoes of their laughter still dance in the pathway of her memories, each
corner holding a piece of their shared past. Being the eldest in the family, she was raised
in a home devoid of affection. That's why she is really devoted to him because he is the
only one who can truly take care of her while she is too busy taking care of others. Their
hearts still harbor faith that he will return to complete their unfinished love story. That
corner that was once the location of many of their memories—the corner of that street—is
now all she has left to cling to in order to keep waiting for him.

THE HISTORY OF LOVE
by: Lizlie Sayson

One experiences a deep sense of contentment and

satisfaction when they are in love. The delight of
living life and making memories with a loved one.
Even though I'm only 17 years old and have only
been in one significant relationship, I've learned
that being in love is a unique experience. There is
no love without risk, and even worse than risk,
there is no love without loss, so we have to be
willing to take those chances. There are risks
associated with everything in life, but the most
difficult one is often the risk of fully committing to
someone and opening up to them. The risk
everybody takes on a daily basis with love is that
some people are afraid to fall in love because they
fear heartbreak. I give everything I've got into a
relationship. I work hard every day to improve the
connections I am a part of because I cherish them
all. However, there are moments when I just have
to face reality and accept that heartbreak is
inevitable, and that's okay. We are always reminded
that we are in love and that we are capable of
loving when we experience heartbreak. Heartbreak
is a part of the adventure of life, even though it
stinks, because it is a part of the excitement of life.
You're never supposed to know how in a
relationship, but falling in love is a whole other
story. It's something you come across every day.
When you see or think about that special someone,
you get this sensation—a wonderful, flaming feeling.
Despite the fact that being in love can provide
someone with the greatest happiness of their life,
This emotion, love, is ultimately what gives life
meaning and makes it bearable.

DREAMY NOCTURNE:
DARKNESS AND LIGHT
by: Rhian Cañada

I prefer to live at night than to a day

3 a.m., and I'm still awake
Writing some thoughts I don't have the courage to say
For everytime I speak, my words became vauge.

Everyone was on their bed, sleeping so tight

Euphony of the night gives me peace
As the stars twinkling above so bright
Makes me forget the struggles I face.

Looking back to what I was

Is far from what I am today
To live happy is a fuzz
For these cacophony thoughts makes me run away.

When the sun's up

Deep thoughts turn back to reality
Reminding myself not to give up
And that I should strengthend my spirituality.

Struggles in life is ephemeral

To survive, I have to fight
Having a perfect life without problems is fictional
In a perfect time, everything will be alright.

HOMESICK
by: Joebert John T. Pastias

There's a part of me that still gets a little sad for the past dreams I wasn't
able to achieve and for the person I didn't become. I must have lost
those on my way here to become the person I am right now. Those might
have slipped right through my grasp without my awareness, as I felt
astray in this world. I was the one who never got tired of smiling and
giving light to others. But then life happened. I had tons of goals before,
but I felt like the past years when I pushed myself to its limits were
taking their toll on me these days. The exhaustion I feel on some days is
beyond my soul, and no rest can cure it. Sometimes I become emotional
thinking about the desires I used to want to achieve and the aims I had
missed. I have this long list of ambitions I wanted to pursue, but now all I
want is to have such peace of mind.
