VACANCIES
The NSFAS is a Schedule 3(A) entity governed by the National Student Financial
Aid Scheme Act (56 of 1999). The role of the organisation is to provide financial aid
to eligible students from poor and working-class families who would otherwise not
be able to afford to study at South African TVET colleges and public universities.
The following vacancies exist in Cape Town.
Chief Audit Executive (5 Years Fixed Term Contract)
The purpose of the job is to develop and lead the Internal Audit strategy and teams
in overseeing the value chain, which includes amongst others, the management of
the in-house Internal Audit Department to fulfil the purpose, role and responsibilities
as established in the Audit Charter
Senior Manager: Applications Support (Permanent)
The purpose of the job is to develop, monitor and maintain NSFAS policies,
operation plans, systems and procedures that drive the efficient and effective
implementation of the core business strategy in relation to the Applications
Support Division.
Senior Manager: Data Management Services (Permanent)
The purpose of the job is to guide the organization with matters relating to data,
including master data, business intelligence, advanced analytics, information
management, current state analysis and design of the future data architecture,
data correction, data quality and data processes.
Senior Manager: Quality Assurance (Permanent)
The purpose of the job is to develop and maintain the highest quality standard,
governance protocols and measures for the Core Business unit processes and
procedures that relates to student account management in Applications Support,
Student Support, and Value-added Services.
Manager: Student Accounts Maintenance (Permanent)
The purpose of the job is to manage and review the application of the NSFAS
student funding criteria through the verification of registration claims. Effective
and Efficient resolution of exceptions and validation of student accounts. Review
all data involved in the student funding value chain.

Remuneration Package: NSFAS offers a Competitive Remuneration Package
which is Market Related.
Total Cost to Company per annum inclusive of all benefits and company
