ACCESS UNIT CURRENT SITUATION KEY AREAS OF IMPROVEMENT PROJECT PLAN FOR 6 YEARS

Classroom and Facilities FPMIU Camarin high School is one of the Mega School in the Division Safety, Cleanliness and Orderliness
of Caloocan City, with a land area measuring 21,049 sq.m. It has of School Physical Facilities
18 buildings with 129 functional classrooms, 2 rooms for science
laboratories with 2 storage rooms, 6 rooms for computer
laboratories, 1 room for media center, 3 rooms for
library/learning resource center, 1 room for dressmaking
laboratory, 1 room for wellness center, and 14 rooms used for
admin offices and ancillary services.
Due to the increasing number of enrollees, tables and chairs
for learners are not sufficient. Some of learners used Monoblock
chairs to augment the shortage. To ensure the conducive
teaching and learning environment the school needs to repaint
and repair minor damages in roofing, ceiling, windows and doors,
blackboards, and electrical wiring and lighting fixtures in some
building/rooms of the school. The comfort rooms in the third and
fourth floor of the buildings and some in the second floor were
temporarily close because of poor water service and lack of
personnel to maintain the area. There is also a need of repair in
some of the handwashing facilities of the school due to water
leakages, damage faucets and drainages. For the security of the
school building, facilities and equipment, school personnel and
learners, the school needs to augment the existing CCTVs and
warning devices. For the safety of the learners the school needs
to repair some damages in the buildings and school grounds that
cause by constructions and vehicles and also to provide
emergency exits in some buildings and other areas in the school.
