Reduce Hazards
1. Pre job safety meeting, Raise work Personal injury. Follow as per work permit procedure.

2. Determine if platform safe to rig up. Toxic gas. Use gas detector to determine for gas leak.
Monitor wind direction.
3. Cantilever out & center Rig over well. Damage to equipment. Have crew watch cantilever & pump room,
keep contact with skid operator.
4. Establish access to platform. Fall, struck by. Inspect hoist lines for damage, have hands
watch for problems.
5. Secure platform area with safety Fire, Toxic gas. Use gas monitor, Keep SCBA close by, check
equipment before operation. wind direction.
6. Check wellhead pressures. Toxic gas. Bleed off trapped pressure, check wind
direction.
7. Connecting surface / kill lines. Pinch point, falling object. Check lines for seal gasket, use good
communication.
8. Close work permit. Toxic gas. Follow work permit procedures.
