2024-2025 ACADEMIC

YEAR PHYSICS PROJECT

GUIDE

Preparing: .............................................................................................
Name No : .................... Class : ……......
..................
SOLID-LIQUID PRESSURE WORK SHEET
Demonstration Topic: _____________________ Coursera Course: ____________________
A. Choosing the Subject
First part of the project requires selection of a physics topic from the given list to prepare a
demonstration. Second part of the project requires the selection of an online course from
www.coursera.org website. The course should be chosen from following topics: Physics, Physical
science and engineering, Astronomy.
B. Stages of the Project
1. After choosing a topic to prepare a demonstration from, students should research and consult
with their teacher throughout the process. Students are obligated to complete this part of the
project at the end of the first semester and present their demonstrations to their teacher.
2. Students are obligated to complete all requirements of the Coursera course that they choose to
take. Students are obligated to follow due dates and course calendar.
3. Students are obligated to meet with their physics teacher three times during the process.
• The first meeting will be held one month after the project process starts. The student will
give information about the topic of demonstration and the content of the coursera course
he/she has taken. In this meeting the student’s progression of the project will be
evaluated (10 minutes).
• The second meeting will be held at the end of the first semester. The student will
present the demonstration to his/her teacher (10 minutes).
• In the third and last meeting, student will present a report which he/she will convey what
he/she has learned from the course and will submit a poster about the course content
(10 minutes).
4. At the end of the course, each student needs to provide a demonstration, a report and a
poster which describes course taken (You can use https://www.canva.com/ or other online
tools). For evaluation rubric, refer to part H.
C. Evaluation
1. 30% of the assessment points will be obtained from the completion of the Coursera course.
2. 30% of the assessment points will be obtained from the demonstration.
3. 20% of the assessment points will be obtained from the report.
4. 20% of the assessment points will be obtained from the poster.
* Late submissions or participations will lose 5 points from each sections grade for a day.
