Mechanics

Good evening class. I'm just going to record this purposely for tonight's recorded lecture,
but this is not really actually a lecture, but I was just going to explain to you the
mechanics of our role-playing simulations. This will be done face-to-face, okay? But I will
be posting later on samples of how we conducted our role-playing simulation.
So one will play as a lawyer and the other will play as a client. So as much as possible, I
want this done before you are going to be serving the public, because I will be asking
you to attend legal admissions, let's raise a campaign. So for now, let's do a role-playing
simulations in the classroom.
So I will be, for example, tomorrow, because you only have like one hour class. So
tomorrow before the class, I will be posting in the Google Classroom, like five hours,
sorry, like one hour ahead. So in the classes, like eight to nine, so I will be posting by
seven o'clock.
The cases that will be, how do I say this? The sample cases that you will be, the client
will be asking the lawyer, okay? So the class, we'll have time to read all the elements, all
the procedures, anything about the sample case. For example, I will be posting, no, like
the BP-22. So what are the needed answers that you must provide the client, okay? If he
has, or she has a question on procedure, on what to do.
If she has a question on like, if the check is naive, or if the account is closed, something
like that. So I will be calling five the clients who will act as clients, and five who will act
as lawyers. But you will not know this until tomorrow, okay? So everybody should study
the cases, because any of you, I will just call you, improve too, during the class, to act as
lawyer, or to act as clients.
But before the class, I will be meeting the clients, because I will be requiring you to ask
certain questions. Only you will know this. So the clients will be called ahead before the
lawyers, because the lawyers will be called once I will now call the case, that the client
will play, that that is his problem.
So this is, I forgot how I put this. I think I, for a while, I will look for the idea. So, I'll put it
here.
Um, I will just be adjusting, because I'll purposely, the, so if you act as a lawyer, it should
be midterm, and if you now act as a client, it should be final, final exam. So everyone will
have a chance to play as a client or as a lawyer. So for those who are already called as a
lawyer, for the entire time, then we'll reverse.
You will play as a client, and the other one will play as a lawyer. So, I can't remember
how many of you are in the classroom, but if you are like 24, so at least pair. But if there
is one that doesn't have a pair, then I will be your, I will be playing as the client, or I will
be playing as the lawyer, and you all be the client.
So, of course, there is a time limit, because we can only accommodate five, no? So, we
only have like one hour. So it is very important that you must finish everything in 10
minutes, okay? So the very important ones, the lawyer must know, I'm sure, I have
already discussed this, this was already posted in the recorded lectures, on what, on how
to cut, on how to lead, on how to answer questions of the client. So, you should already
know how to lead, you should already know how to handle a client on questions that are
not important, but because role-playing, I will be asking things, you know, I will be
making the clients do acts that, or pretend that, like that.
So, you should be the lawyer, you should know how to deal with that already, because
I've already discussed this, I've already posted it in my recorded lectures, and I will be
posting later on the sample. So, good luck class, I will be finally meeting you again. Is it,
it will be, I believe, it will be the first time that I will be meeting you face-to-face, because
the first time we met was virtual, and that was the first one, we didn't meet on the
transport, but it was also online, so, finally tomorrow, I'm really actually excited to meet
you personally.
And it's very nice, because we have role-playing, and it's like a workshop in a sense. So,
good luck, and see you all tomorrow.
