Diamonds in the FLUFF

Diamonds in the Fluff is worked cuff-down in a slip-stitch

pattern. It has a heel flap with Cat Bordhi’s “Riverbed”
gusset and a star-toe. The sock pictured above was knit with
Wollmeise 100% Merino.

CUFF Pick up and knit 15(15, 19) sts from right edge of heel flap,
Cast on 64(72,80) sts, join in the round being careful not to place marker for right edge of riverbed gusset, (this marker also

R1: *K3, P1 repeat from * to end of round
Repeat R1 for a total of 12 rounds Setup Round 2: K to start of instep, work instep in pattern,

Work the 8-stitch-repeat of the Diamond Pattern chart 8(9,10) R1: SSK, k to 2 sts before left riverbed marker, k2tog,
times per round. k to start of instep, work instep in diamond pattern,
Repeat rows 1-8 of the chart 9 times (or to desired length), k to end of round
then rows 1-4 once, but don’t work the final purl st of the last R2 & 3: k to start of instep, work instep in diamond

Diamond Pattern Stitch Cabling without a Cable Needle

(8 st repeat) The slip-stitch cables in this pattern are easy to work without a
R1 & 2: sl1, k5, sl1, p1 cable needle.
R3: c1 over 2 left, k1, c1 over 2 right, p1
R4: k7, p1 C1 over 2 left: drop the 1st stitch (because this stitch was
