Okay let’s start the lesson.

So today we’re going to learn about the expressions of starting opinions, agreeing, and disagreeing then try to
analyze them in spoken transactional conversation. The importance thing to learn this material is to understand
well the expression of starting opinions, agreeing, and disagreeing and to enhance your listening skill to analyze
those expression in spoken transactional conversation.

1. In the beginning you will share your idea about the picture to brainstorm your knowledge about starting
opinions, agreeing, and disagreeing 2. you learn about those expression 3. Individual text to analyze starting
opinions, agreeing, and disagreeing in spoken transactional conversation

Next, you will work in group, but before that, do you remember your group? Please gather with your group.

Okay, there are 2 pictures there, picture 1 and picture 2. Please discuss about the picture. Based on the picture
1, what do you think about it? Then picture 2, do you agree or disagree with the activity? Explain the reason.
After discussing, one representative of you will explain the result. I’ll give you 5 minutes to discuss. Is that clear?

Let’s discuss it. What group 1 presented is correct.

Like the group 1 said, the picture 1 illustrates about two people who are talking about something or they are
sharing their opinion each other, and group 1 has already implemented how to share how to start giving
opinion.

Then, the picture 2 is cheating. One of students try to see the other answer. The group 1’s answer correct, they
disagree with cheating because that is bad behavior and we should do the test individually

Let’s move on, so now we’re going to learn detail the expression of starting opinion, agreeing and disagreeing.

The next is individual test. Before we begin, please back to your seat individually, not gather in group.

Okay, so this is an individual test. I will play the audio of spoken transactional conversation twice. Listen
carefully and snalyze the expressions of starting opinions, agreeing, and disagreeing and write your answer in
the worksheet. Time for individual test is 30 minutes. Please do individually, don’t ask to your friends and no
cheating. Is it clear? I will play the audio. One more.

Any problems? 10 minutes left.
