GRADE 12 CHEER DANCE CONTEST, PERFORMANCE TASK IN PE 3
MECHANICS AND RULES
1. The participants are the grade 12 Bonafide students of Victorias National
High School-SHS.
2. The participants must have a GROUP NAME. (Ex. Eyyy Squad)
3. Class T-shirts are required as part of the costume, if necessary. Since that,
groups are composed of 2 strands, the choreographer must strategized.
4. NO OUTSIDE choreographer. NO RENTING or PURCHASE expensive materials
to be used as costume and props. Each group must be monitored by the PE
Teacher. Any group participants who disobey the rule will be disqualified and
automatically will receive 75 as their grade in Performance Task.
5. The entire performance has a minimum of 5 minutes and does not exceed 6
minutes including the songs and yells, entrance, and exit.
6. For the songs and yells, any dialect of their choice is allowed but not too
harsh and no use of inappropriate words in which it can discriminate and
bully other groups.
7. The group must choose their own concept. Routines must be appropriate for
audience viewing. Any vulgar or suggestive movements, words or music will
be deducted 5 points for each judge’s score.
8. Basic cheer dance motion must be visible to the performance.
9. Tumbling, front roll, back flip, back dive, or any acrobatics stunts are
prohibited. Tossing, lifting and pyramid building are not allowed in the
performance to avoid any accident or serious injuries.
10.Handheld props are allowed but not exceed into 2 and must be appropriate to
the concept of the performance. No pyrotechnics.
11.You will be judged based on the following criteria.
Choreography (concept, execution of
cheer dance motion, routines, 30%
transition, and formation)
Synchronization, mastery, timing,

and coordination
Songs and yells (Clarity, volume and

relevance to the theme)
Props and Costumes 15%
Impact 10%
Total 100%
12.Any violations of the foregoing rules may be used as a ground for
disqualification or otherwise cause the appropriate 5 points deduction for
each judge’s score. The decision of the panel shall be final.
13.The TOP 5 winners will receive a 100 points for the performance task.
GRADE 11 AEROBIC EXERCISE, PERFORMANCE TASK IN PE 1
GUIDELINES AND MECHANICS
1. Participants must be a bonifide students of Victorias National High School,
Grade 11.
2. Participants must always be present and follow the policies during practice.
3. The entire performance has a minimum of 3 minutes and does not exceed 4
minutes.
4. Using props such as towels, bottled water, chairs, etc. are allowed but it
should be appropriate for aerobic exercise. NO PYROTECHNICS.
5. Class T-shirts are required as part of the costume, if necessary. Since groups
are composed of 2 strands, the choreographer must strategized.
6. NO OUTSIDE choreographer. NO RENTING or PURCHASE expensive materials
to be used as costume and props. Each group must be monitored by the PE
Teacher. Any group participants who disobey the rule will be disqualified and
automatically will receive 75 as their grade in Performance Task.
