Submission Date: Monday, 5th February 2024
General Guidelines:
Each student is required to create an individual project booklet that encompasses all three subjects –
Mathematics, General Science, Social Studies.
Prior to preparing the booklet, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Engage in subject-wise group discussions with your team to discuss and determine the project's content
and completion process.
Explore various resources and gather relevant information, images, etc., for each subject (Mathematics,
General Science, Social Studies).
If you encounter any difficulties or have doubts, seek assistance from your teacher or team members.
Compile the collected information to create the project booklet using A4 size sheets, which should cover
all three subjects.
o Mathematics: A4 size – Yellow sheets
o Science: A4 size – Green Sheets
o Social Studies: A4 size – Blue Sheets
The project booklet must include the following elements in the specified order:
Sections: Project booklet to have 3 sections, one for each above-mentioned subject. Each subject
section to have maximum of 5 pages including a cover page.
[1st page of each subject will be a cover page for specific subject, 4 pages for the content]
Main Cover page: A creatively designed page displaying details such as Name, class & section, and
Subject with the project topic.
Index page: Relevant details, including serial numbers, topics/subtopics, and corresponding page
numbers.
Introduction: A concise introduction about the project topic.
Body of the project: Use sketch pens to describe the content of each subtopic. Incorporate clear,
watermark-free color pictures (which can also be drawn).
Conclusion
Bibliography
Ensure that the booklet is tidy and highlights creativity.
Project booklets are to be submitted by Monday, 5th February 2024.

Theme: Create your own Menu Card and prepare a bill.
Create your own Menu card and prepare a bill by selling a few items.
Create a menu of a restaurant with at least 10 items on the list.
Activity As an owner ensure a few items are bought by the customers and prepare
a bill for them.
Apply at least 3 mathematical operations in the bill.
Students will be able to analyze and critique existing menus, find out the
secrets involved in menu planning, and create their own menu.
Learning Outcomes Students will discover and increase independence in using
operations and various strategies to solve real – world money math
problems.

Theme: Water
PRESIDENCY SCHOOL
Water is precious for life. Many kinds of animals live in water. These
include birds, snakes, turtles, crabs, octopus, corals etc. Request your
elders to help you in researching for information and collect pictures of
two animals each, found in the Arctic Ocean, Indian ocean and the
freshwater lakes or ponds.
On A4-sheet, present your findings under the following headers:
Activity Name of the water body (Arctic Ocean, Indian ocean and the
freshwater lakes or ponds).
Name of the animal found in each water body. (Any two animals for
each water body)
Pictures of the animals
One interesting fact about any five of these animals.
Students will be able to:
Learning Outcomes Research and find out the facts about some of the animals that live in
certain water bodies.
Social Studies
Theme: Metropolitan cities of India
On an A4 size sheet paper paste the pictures, and write about the houses,
Activity clothing, and food of the people in any two metropolitan cities of India.
(Bengaluru - Mandatory, any other metropolitan city of their choice)
Students will be able to:
Learning Outcomes Infer and compare the lifestyle, food, shelter, and clothing of the people
in two metropolitan cities of India.
