INVITATION
Dear Members,
Greetings !
Chairman and the Members of Governing Council of QCFI, Visakhapatnam Chapter have great pleasure in
extending a cordial invitation to you all for our “24th Chapter Convention on Quality Concepts (CCQC
2024)”.
QCFI has been spearheading the education, training, propagation and helping in implementation of Quality
Concepts across organisations belonging to industrial, service, educational, health, rural and social sectors
and playing a cardinal role in promoting Quality culture in the member organizations.
This year, the convention theme is
"Investing in people, building a better future"
"Investing in People, Building a Better Future" aligns seamlessly with the principles of Total Quality
Management (TQM) and employee involvement in small group activities. TQM emphasizes continuous
improvement and customer satisfaction, which can only be achieved through the active participation of
employees. By investing in the development and engagement of employees, organizations can harness
their collective expertise and creativity. Small group activities foster collaboration, problem-solving, and
innovation, driving the organization towards excellence. This investment in human capital not only
enhances product and service quality but also builds a culture of continuous improvement, leading to
sustainable organizational growth and a brighter future for all stakeholders.
Our Quality Circle convention gives an opportunity to the employees to show case their achievements by
adopting continuous quality improvement concepts in their respective organizations. We request all our
individual and institutional members to actively participate in the 24th CCQC of Visakhapatnam Chapter, be
benefitted by mutual learning for better future and make this mega annual event a grand success.
The Chapter Convention will be followed by 38th National Convention (NCQC-2024) to be held at Gwalior,
Madhya Pradesh in December 2024. The teams winning GOLD and SILVER awards in CCQC-2024 will be
recommended by QCFI Visakhapatnam Chapter for participation at NCQC-2024. We earnestly request all
the organisations to actively participate in large number and make this event ‘CCQC-2024’ a grand success.

BRIEF OUTLINE OF EVENTS
I. Convention Seminar
Senior Executives from organizations who have successfully implemented various Quality Concepts will
share their experiences through lectures on the convention theme: "Investing in people, building a
better future"
II. Case Study Presentations on Quality Concepts
Case studies on various Quality Concepts will be scheduled for presentation in parallel sessions. The
entire presentation including explanation with the aid of models need to be done within 15 minutes. The
case study presentations in PDF form with less than 25 MB size each shall be sent only by email to :
[email protected].

III. Knowledge Test and Quiz Competition:
1st Level Knowledge Test (Open Book) on 19th September 2024 for All Teams
2nd Level Knowledge Test (Closed Book) on 20th September 2024 for Top 25 Teams
Live Quiz Competition on 20th September 2023 for Top 6 Teams
Please collect the question paper for First Level Knowledge Test at Registration Counter and submit
answer sheets before 11.00 AM on 19th Sept’2024. The marks obtained in Knowledge Test are
considered for Selection of Teams for ‘Live Quiz’ and will not be added to your Case Study. Participation
in Knowledge Test & Quiz will help the teams perform better at National Convention where Knowledge
Test is compulsory for Case Study Evaluation.
IV. QC Crossword Competition:
QC Crossword competition will be conducted between 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM on 19th September 2024.
V. Essay/Poster/Poem/Slogan Competitions:
To encourage the creativity in Quality Circle members, on the spot competitions shall be organized like
Essay, Poster, Poem and Slogan Competitions. Entries are to be submitted well before 5PM on 19th
Sept’2024 for Essay competition on the theme of the Convention. Only registered delegates are eligible.
VI. Model Exhibition
There will be a Model Exhibition at the venue. Best models will be suitably awarded. Teams are required
to display their QC name and organization. The criteria for evaluation shall be relevance to the project
presented, creativity, use of scrap, skill of explaining, moving/live model.
VII. Cultural Programme
Participants will get an opportunity to exhibit their inherent talents through Skits, dances etc. Interested
members may give their names at the time of Registration so that necessary arrangements can be made.
