FOOTBALL SUMMER CUP TOURNAMENT

June 15, 2024: “Unleash the Champion Within”


The Shardein Football under 13 team lived and nailed
the quoted words. The Sports & Health solutions
hosted the Football Summer Cup tournament in the
under 13 age group in a grand manner to develop
Harmony and Healthy sporting environment among the
young budding players. It was held at Netaji Subhash
Sports Complex, Jasola Vihar, New Delhi on 15th June
2024.There were 12 Football Teams from different
schools and academies. Each team participated in the
tournament with great enthusiasm.Shardein boys won
the final match against the Kalka football academy with
a score of 1-0. The winner team was awarded by the
Rolling Trophy, medals and certificates. The day was a
great experience in the life of students and the
tournament was a grand success by the combined
efforts of the sports teacher Mr. Rahul Kumar and
the supporting staff.

MANGO PARTY

July 6,2024 - It was a perfect day to celebrate the season of the


king of fruits “Mango”. Children were very happy and enjoyed the
scrumptious mango treat. They recited the rhymes related to
mango. They enjoyed having mango and frooti. The children did
palm print activity on sheet and then played game too. They had to
search out yellow colour things. They all were dressed in yellow
colour attire and looked lovely. Overall it was a fun filled day.
Children were very happy and had ample of fun enjoying
the Mango Party.

JUNGLE PARTY

July 20,2024: The kids of kindergarten enjoyed the


Jungle Party with a great zeal. They all came
showcasing themselves as different animals in school.
It was a great learning experience for kids as they
learnt different stories, sounds and features of animals.
They all came dressed up in different animals’
costume. Other kids wore different animals’ masks
and enjoyed their jungle party a lot They also enjoyed
the puppet show of Cub's Birthday party organised by
their teachers by creating jungle scene in their
respective classes .

FIRST INTER DISTRICT LEVEL CHESS COMPETITION

July 21, 2024: Our budding chess champions participated in the


First Inter District Level Chess Competition , the two-day chess
competition organized by Muzaffarnagar Chess Academy in the
premises of Arya Academy International School , on 20- 21st
July 24 . On this occasion, the chief guest was Dr. Surya Prakash
Aggarwal, senior scientist Dr. Rupak Raja, Dr. Supriya Arya and
Dr. Satyaveer Arya, President of Arya Academy International
School. Boys and girls of age categories 9,11,14,17 participated
in the competition. Students securing first, second and third
position in each category were honored with trophies and
certificates and other participants were rewarded with medals.
Students of Class IV C Anika Goel and Vihaan Bansal
participated and achieved 1st & 3rd position( under age group 9)
respectively .Our little champion players showcased their
strategic and creative thinking, calmness under pressure and
patience while playing this mind game. The students proved that
errors made would not get them down .
Finally, school manager Sughosh Arya honored the chief guests
by presenting mementos. We wish success to all the participants
in their future endeavours.

INTER CLASS RHYME RECITATION COMPETITION

July 23,2024- Poetry is the core of


literature. To spread the fragrance of
poetry amongst the students of LKG
and UKG, an Inter Class Rhyme
Recitation was organised in the school.
Our cute poets enjoyed the beauty of
expression, thought, feeling, rhyme,
rhythm and the music of words. The
main purpose behind conducting such
competitions is to build self confidence,
develop the oratory skills and self
expression among the little literary
aspirants. All the participants were
applauded and praised for showing up
their rhyming capabilities.

HARIYALI TEEJ CELEBRATION

August 7, 2024 : The festival of Teej was


celebrated with great enthusiasm in Shardein
School. The traditional colourful costumes of the
students enhanced the charm and mood of the
celebrations. On the occasion, the girls showcased
their art by presenting folk dance. Students were
delighted to apply mehendi, play on swings, and
enjoyed eating traditional sweets. Principal Ma'am
congratulated everybody on the occasion and
conveyed a message that motto of organising
various cultural activities is to help students relate
and bond them with their culture.

THE 78th INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Independence Day is a day to celebrate our achievements and look forward to a future full of promise and
possibility. The 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great zeal in the premises of Shardein School.
The chief guest of the occasion, Shri Sanjay Singh(SDM) Muzaffarnagar along with the Principal ma'am &
Director sir hoisted the flag. Many enthusiastic programs like singing, group dance, skit and speeches were
conducted. The meticulous attention to the vibrant energy of the performances created a captivating display
that filled the audience with patriotism. The performances were a tribute to our brave soldiers, martyrs and
sports persons and also showcased our cultural diversity.Honorable chief guest, Principal ma'am & Director
sirmotivated the students with their inspirational words. The program was concluded with a vote of thanks.

RAKHI CELEBRATION

August 17, 2024 : Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing way to
celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, the
students sang a beautiful song 'Phoolo ka taroo ka sabka kehna hai'. A
mesmerizing skit filled everybody's heart with love. A 'Rakhi Making
Competition ' was conducted on 17th August, 2024. Students participated in
this competition and made colourful rakhis . They used decorative threads,
mirrors, stars beads and pearls for making beautiful rakhis. Such activities
make students learn about Indian traditions. All the students made beautiful
rakhis. The judgement was done by our respected parents from KG classes.

TEEJ CELEBRATION

August 17,2024 : To enhance the emotional


bond and to make the students know about
various cultures and their importance, a Teej
festival was celebrated in the school premises
in which the kids of kindergarten came in,
preferably wearing green colored dresses and
enjoyed swings and sang folk songs to
celebrate the occasion. They also danced on
various songs related to Teej. All the students
enjoyed this festival with great fun. They also
brought sweets to celebrate the festivals
and shared them with each other.

ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION


"A debate competition is an opportunity to showcase your knowledge, wit,
and persuasive skills."
August 17, 2024: In order to foster the spirit of communicative skills and
effective oration, an inter house Group C , English debate competition was
organised in Shardein School .The topics of the debate were "Like all things
artificial, AI too is a boon " ( for classes 10 to 12 ) and "Electric vehicles
have too lesser carbon footprints " ( for classes 7 to 9 ) .The time limit was
2.5 - 3 minutes. Four students from each House participated in the event
.The aim of the competition was to hone public speaking skills of the
students and create awareness. Participants speaking for both 'for' and
'against' the motion debated enthusiastically. This enhanced the knowledge
and understanding of the topic among students.

JANMASHTAMI CELEBRATION

August 24,2024 : Janmashtami is celebrated with great devotion and


reverence, as it marks the birth of Lord Krishna, who is seen as a symbol
of divinity, love, and righteousness. It is the largest festival in the Braj
region of north India. The festival is enthusiastically celebrated across this
region especially in Mathura, where Shri Krishna was born and in
Vrindavan where he was brought up. Our Shardein School also celebrated
the festival with utmost zeal and zest. The KG wing and primary classes
performed various cultural and dance programs. A musical skit and dance
performance was done by UKG blue and 'matki Phor' was performed by
the students of UKG Green, and another dance on 'Natkhat Krishna' and
'Makhan Chor ' was performed by the students of LKG Blue and Red. The
occasion was taken as an opportunity to express gratitude towards all the
mothers and their contribution in a child's better upbringing. All the
mothers present there presented a fascinating dance performance. The
program was graced by the Hon'ble chief guests Mrs. Meenakshi Swaroop
Ma'am Director Sir and Principal ma'am conveyed their gratitude towards
the guests by presenting them with a plant as a mark of honour and
respect. They also appreciated the beautiful performances of our tiny tots.

INTER- HOUSE FOOTBALL FINAL MATCH

August 31, 2024 : The Inter House Football Final Match was
played at Shardein School on 31st August, 2024. Students
participated enthusiastically in the Inter House Football Match.
Our P.T.I's were referees of different matches. Accompanied by
frantic cheering, the first match, between Peace House and
Courage House took off with a bang. Both teams were evenly
matched. But a marvellous performance by Peace House made
them win the match by 3-2 in the penalty shootout. The Second
match ( Group C ) between Peace House and Faith House was
equally well fought. The Peace House team triumphed by winning
the match with a convincing score of 4-1.The matches saw neck to
neck competition between the two houses.
The final score card is –

Courage House : 2nd
Group C
Peace House. : 1st
Faith House. : 2nd
The students displayed a perfect example of sportsmanship,
enthusiasm and zeal. All the boys played fantastically well.The
Principal congratulated the winners and advised all to enjoy the
game and the moment as well.

TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

September 5, 2024 : “It is the supreme art of the teacher


to awaken joy in creative expression and knowledge.”
Shardein School celebrated Teachers' Day on 5th
September 2024 with immense enthusiasm and joy. The
day began with a special welcome of teachers at school gate
by the students of Grade Xll. In a heartwarming tradition,
the students then took on the responsibilities of the teachers,
symbolizing respect and admiration for the teaching
profession. The celebration saw the presence of prominent
figures, some officers from DCB bank came and honored
the teachers . The Students performed various dances in
groups A, B, and C.Principal ma'am and director sir
appreciated the performances of the students. The program
ended by free dancing on and around the stage. A
refreshment party was also arranged for the worthy teachers.

ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR YOUNG BOXERS AT ZONAL LEVEL

4 students of our school participated in the CBSE


zonal boxing championship held in Dehradun. 3 out
of our 4 students achieved medals in the
championship in their respective age categories.
Gaurav Chaudhary of class 12th and Nakul
Chaudhary of class 10th achieved bronze medals
in the under 17 age group and made all of us proud.
Vishvjeet Chaudhary of class 12th achieved gold
medal in the under 19 age group, secured the first
position and achieved the gold medal. Moreover, he
also qualified for the national level boxing which
is a great inspiration for all young boxers and a
remarkable achievement of pride for us all. This
achievement is another evidence in support of the
fact that ‘Excellence begets Excellence’.

ENGLISH DEBATE COMPETITION (Group B)

September 21, 2024: An English Debate Competition


for group B (class 4-6) was held on September 21,
2024 on the topic " Is technology making us less
social "The objective was to enhance the power of
expression and presentation among the students with
the criteria of good Introduction, Use of example and
facts, sequence of statements, clarity and
pronunciation proficiency and presentation with good
body language and voice modulation. Mrs Alka
Verma was the honourable judge for the event. First
position was gained by Chaitanya Chikara of Peace
house, second position was shared by Hope house
and Courage house participants Rida Fatima and
LavanyaRawal, third position was gained by Aabhya
Tyagi from Faith house and Consolation prize was
given to Tanmay Vashishtha from Faith house .All
the participants were highly appreciated and
motivated by respected Director Sir.

SCIENCE:- FIRST AID BOX

September 19, 2024: A Science activity was conducted by the teacher


in class-4. In this activity students were asked to bring cardboard, a box,
white chart paper, red paper and colour pens. Later, with the help of
these material students prepared their first aid box. They kept few first
aid requirements such as thermometer, dettol, antiseptic cream, pain
reliever, cotton, betadine and band-aid. Their enthusiasm was
appreciable. With the help of this activity they came to know about the
first aid given to injured person in different situations. Active
participation ofthe students brought the activity to the success.

BEST OUT OF WASTE COMPETITION

September 20, 2024: The students of Group - B participated in


'Best Out Of Waste' Competition held on September 20, 2024. The
objective of the competition was to create love for environment by
making best out of waste with help of recyclable things. Best out of
waste is one such craft which follows environmental friendly
principle and at the same time creates useful objects out of waste
products. Students used their imagination and creativity to make
innovative things. Students used ice cream sticks , plastic bottles,
old cardboard containers etc. All the things which are waste in our
day to day life were used in constructive manner and variety of
things were made from them. The activity displayed creativity of
the little ones and developed sense of love for environment.
Students organized their thought to create such beautiful items .
