money.
Option A: Invest the full amount, in USD, in a fixed deposit account in an American bank.

year fixed rate mortgage assuming the Interest Rate stays as 5.75% with 0 down.
a) What is his monthly payment?
b) Yikes! Mr. Valadez just heard that Interest Rates are going up to 6.125%. Mr. Valadez isn’t really happy
about this. He was comfortable with his monthly payment at the 5.75% and is worried that he won’t be
able to afford a higher monthly payment. He wants to know how much he can get the loan for at the
6.125% Interest Rate, so his monthly payment is the same as it was at the previous interest rate of 5.75%.
What is the new loan amount he should take out if he wants the same monthly payment as before?
