DIRECTORS
Prof. Amit Dhiman
Amit Dhiman is a Professor in the Human Resource
Management Group at IIM Calcutta, where he has been
associated since 2008. He holds a PhD degree from IIM
Ahmedabad, a master’s degree in Human Resource
Management, and a B.E. in Mechanical Engineering. With
over seven years of industry experience in Human Resource
Management and Organisational Development, he brings
extensive expertise to his role. His research and teaching
focus on Performance Management, Accountability, Stress
Management, Strategic HRM, and HRM in Services, with
numerous publications in international journals. Prof. Amit
has consulted for private sector companies, public sector
organisations, government entities, and NGOs, and has
received pedagogical training from prestigious institutions
such as Harvard Business School.

Prof. Dharma Raju Bathini


Professor Dharma Raju Bathini, a member of the HRM
Group at IIM Calcutta, holds a Ph.D. in Organisation
Behaviour from IIM Ahmedabad and a B.Tech. from NIT
Warangal. He has interdisciplinary interests in teaching
and research, specialising in Flexible Work Arrangements,
Platform/Gig Work, International HRM, and Work Stress.
His work has been published in high-quality international
journals and case study outlets. Prof. Bathini has designed
and delivered both long and short-duration training
programmes in Organisational Behaviour and HR, with
teaching expertise in International HRM, Strategic HRM,
and Managing Work Stress. Prior to academia, he led
change initiatives, IR conflict resolutions, and project
teams in large-scale manufacturing and green-field
automotive parts projects.
