PILLAR 2: SAFER ROADS AND MOBILITY
The Design standards for Indian roads are
contanied in the Codes of practice and standards
of the Indian Raods Congress. Detailed
instructions in this regard were issued by the

Training for Road Safety: Engineers involved in
planning, design, construction and operation of
highways need to be tranied on road safety. In

road users, sharing of information by traffic

The Supreme Court of India hs stressed that the
