Fluid and Lubricant Specifications

Sandvik Mining Equipment recommends using fluids or lubricants that are appropriate for your
machine and the environment in which the machine will be operating. To prevent unnecessary
maintenance and maintain a high-level of machine performance, fluids and lubricants that are
selected should meet with the specifications defined in this document and be of the highest grade
and quality available.
This document lists and defines specifications for fluid and lubricants used throughout Sandvik’s
entire product line. Not all fluids and/or lubricants defined in this document may be applicable to
your unit. When choosing fluids and/or lubricants from this specification, first identify the major
components on your machine that require a fluid or lubricant, then select the fluid and/or lubricant
that possesses the physical properties best-suited for your application and environment.
