Theme: “Pagpapanatili ng Bayanihan Tungo sa Kalidad na Edukasyon Para sa Kabataan "
Location: Hinapolon Elementary School

Introduction

Hinapolon Elementary School successfully conducted the Brigada Eskwela from August 3 and
28, 2020. The activity aimed to prepare the school for the upcoming academic year by
engaging the community through volunteerism and collaborative efforts.

Objectives

The primary objectives of the Brigada Eskwela were:

1. To clean, repair, and improve the physical facilities of the school.


2. To foster a spirit of cooperation among stakeholders in the school community.
3. To promote awareness and involvement of parents, students, local officials, and
other community members in ensuring a conducive learning environment.

Key Participants

The event was attended by various stakeholders, including:


• Teachers: Janell J. Bulante, Arcy T. Abadines, Elly M. Cañete
• School Brigada Eskwela Coordinator: Ma’am Mary Jane Gatela
• School Head: Sir Oscar D. Matela Jr.
• SPTA President: Nenita C. Miralles
• Barangay Council: Headed by Hon. Barangay Chairman Rodolfo Sablamante Jr.

Activities Conducted
Throughout the week, the following activities were successfully conducted:
1. Classroom Cleaning and Repainting: Teachers, parents, and community
members worked together to clean and repaint classrooms to create a more welcoming and
pleasant learning environment.

2. School Grounds Beautification: Volunteers cleared the surroundings, trimmed
overgrown plants, and planted ornamental flowers.
3. Minor Repairs: Minor repairs such as fixing broken chairs, windows, and doors
were done to ensure safety and comfort for students and staff.
4. Materials and Resource Mobilization: Stakeholders contributed cleaning
materials, tools, and paint. The barangay council also provided additional manpower and
equipment support.
5. Safety and Preparedness Training: The school organized safety drills to prepare
students and staff for potential emergencies in the upcoming school year.

Outcome

The Brigada Eskwela 2023 was highly successful in achieving its objectives. The school
facilities were greatly improved, ensuring a safe and clean environment for learners. The
event strengthened relationships between the school and the community, fostering a sense of
ownership and responsibility among participants.

Acknowledgements

Hinapolon Elementary School extends its gratitude to all the volunteers, teachers, parents,
barangay officials, and other stakeholders for their tireless efforts and contributions to the
success of Brigada Eskwela 2023. Special thanks to the Barangay Council, led by Hon. Rodolfo
Sablamante Jr., for their unwavering support.

Conclusion

The spirit of “Bayanihan” was evident throughout the Brigada Eskwela. With the help of the
entire school community, Hinapolon Elementary School is now better equipped to provide a
conducive learning environment for the students. This collaboration is a testament to the
collective effort of various sectors in ensuring that education remains a priority.
