ULTRASOUND WHOLE ABDOMEN

Findings:

Liver is mildly enlarged in size (~ 156 mm), normal in outline and shows grade I - II fatty changes. No focal
lesion is seen. Intra hepatic biliary radicals are normal. Portal vein is normal in course and calibre.

Gall bladder is distended. Wall thickness is normal. No obvious gallstones seen. Common bile duct is not dilated.

Pancreas is normal in size, outline and echotexture. No focal lesion is seen. No evidence of calcification is seen.

Spleen is normal in size (~ 96 mm) and echotexture.

Right kidney is normal in size (~ 89x42 mm), outline and echogenicity. Corticomedullary differentiation is maintained.
No evidence of hydronephrotic changes seen. Few echogenic foci casting posterior acoustic shadowing are
seen, largest measuring ~ 3.6 mm is seen at mid pole.

Left kidney is normal in size (~ 107x43 mm), outline and echogenicity. Corticomedullary differentiation is maintained.
No evidence of hydronephrotic changes seen. Few echogenic foci casting posterior acoustic shadowing are
seen, largest measuring ~ 3.1 mm is seen at lower pole.

Urinary bladder is seen in well-distended state. No calculus or mass lesion is seen.

Uterus is mildly bulky in size (~ 91x47 mm) and normal in shape. A well defined round to oval heterogeneous
hypoechoic lesion measuring ~ 31x21.2 mm in anterior wall of myometrium - suggestive of intramural
uterine fibroid.

Endometrial echo is central and regular measuring approx. (~ 5.8 mm) in thickness. No collection seen in the
endometrial canal.

Few nabothian cysts are seen in cervix.

Right ovary appears normal in size and echopattern.

Right ovary measures ~ 24x11.8 mm.

Left ovary is not seen adequately in transabdominal scan.

Right adnexa clear.

No free fluid seen in cul-de-sac.

IMPRESSION: ULTRASOUND WHOLE ABDOMEN REVEALS:-

- Mild hepatomegaly with grade I - II fatty changes.

- Bilateral small renal calculi.

- Mildly bulky uterus with intramural uterine fibroid.

ADVISED: CLINICAL, LFT, NCCT KUB AND TVS CORRELATION.
