when man's selfishness those who truly love Jesus

1. There could be not yours until the death of Christ. Acts 20:28 "Be on guard for yourself and
for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherds the
church of God which He purchase with His own blood".
Many wolves have indeed scattered the flock of God. False teachers have indeed tickled the
ears of many and many doctrines of demons have similarly infiltrated the heart of Christendom
but Christ continues to build His Church, often in secret and often without our knowledge but
Paul's admonition still stands today that we guard our hearts, stand firm in the faith and take
heed of the whole counsel of God. Not only on our own account but in order to protect those
whom God has chosen to place in our care they were also exhorted to: shepherd the Body of
Christ, which is the Church - reminding them, (and us) that we were purchased with His own
precious blood, on Calvary's cross.
2. There could be no church until the resurrection and ascension of Christ. In order for Christ
to be “head over all things to the church” (Eph 1:22-23), Christ had to be resurrected and
ascended.
Maybe, but it's all God's plan and we can trust in it. The ascension to Christians is to show that
Jesus really had overcome death – he wasn't just resurrected to die again, but to live forever.
Also through these events that human beings can hope for their own resurrection. It is the
power of Christ's resurrection that will raise up those who have believed in him.

BA2SIC ECCLESIAL COMMUNITIES IN THE PHILIPPINES: AN ECCLESIALOGICAL
VISION

Instructor: Ms. Prexy Grace A. Ramer
VI. Learning Activities: Summative Evaluation (10%)
1. How do you understand BECs in your community?
The BEC in our community is good and well because the BEcs members have strong sense of
belonging & responsibility for one another. They have a deep personal relationship with Christ
and with one another. They are of one heart and one mind. And as they actively participate in
building of the Kingdom of God, a kingdom of justice, peace and love.
2. How do you look The PCP II vision of BECs?
The PCP II Vision of BECs is strong and well as the in statement we can say that BECs are the
local expression of the chruch as community of Disciples whose members live in communion
and participate in the mission of Christ as a prophetic, priesly, servant community and as a
chruch of poor and analyzing the The PCP II Vision of BECs we can conclude that it is the
nature of the BECs as servant communities to be involved in action for justice, peace, and
social transformation.
VII. Assessment
As a student of a Catholic Institution, the contributions I can give or do to help build a BEC is to
encourage people to join in the said activity because there are many benefits when we are
participating in this kind of gathering. We will be able to share our problems in life which we
nurture in ourselves. The heaviness we feel will be lessened because someone will listen to us
an they can even give us good advices. One more thing is we can build a BEC by learning to
listen to the grievances and cries of our fellow men most especially our family. Let's make them
feel that we are here and ready to listen to whatever problems they have in life so that they do
not feel that they are alone in this world full of trials and problems.

As a student give two ways on how will you matthew the poor to participate in the life and

As a student I will motivate my fellow poor person to participate in the life and mission of the
Church by giving them advice that even we are a poor people in the eyes of God we are all
equal. There are no rich nor poor, ugly nor beautiful/handsome and nothing are superior in
God's eyes. Another thing that I can do to motivate them is to unite with people who believe in
God even if some of them are rich. Let us not underestimate ourselves because God doesn’t
seeks a literal treasure or wealth of the world but what he is looking for is the person who has a
rich and strong faith in Him. Even if we are not blessed with the wealth of the world if our faith
in the Lord is strong and firm, we are better than those rich people who do not know God
because wealth cannot save us and we cannot bring it to our death.

Pastors are called to listen to them, to learn from them to guide them in their faith and to
encourage them to take responsibility for their lives. Yes, the primary duty of a pastor is to
spread the word of God and shepherd followers seeking spiritual guidance, as taught in 1 Peter
5:2-4. In fulfillment of their calling, pastors dedicate themselves to studying the Bible and
preaching. As a pastor, you provide spiritual leadership to members of a church. Your duties
include preparing weekly sermons, preaching and conducting worship services. It's your
responsibility to interpret biblical scripture for the congregation.

What is needed for the Church to carry out her mission?
The needed of the Church to carry out His mission is we have to rely on our greatest resource-
the laity. It is the mission of the laity to bring the temporal order into conformity with the will of
God. Even though not of the clergy, lay people in the Catholic Church are still expected to strive
to embody the teachings of the Church and to share the gift of the Catholic faith; lay men and
women should be active members of their own parishes and in the greater world. Lay people
can act as everyday ministers of the faith, bringing the principles of Christianity and Catholicism
to work, school, and home.
