Concept Notes
Virgin – refers to a person who has not had sexual intercourse.
Virginity – is the quality or state of being chaste / virgin.

Staying virgin until marriage keeps you:


1. Physically
- free from pregnancy and sexually-related diseases
- free from having to choose a hurry-up wedding and an illegitimate child

2. Emotionally
-free from abused by others.
- free from guilt, doubt, disappointment, and loss of reputation

3. Socially
- free to develop appropriate relationship with others

Abstinence is the best decision one can make in safeguarding sexual health.
