1. The Department of Education sets this year’s Brigada Eskwela on August 14 – 19, 2023. The
Brigada Eskwela (BE) is a nationwide school maintenance program that engages all education
stakeholders to contribute their time, efforts, and resources in ensuring that public schools are all in
set of time for the opening of classes. In line with this, Balite Elementary School, Calumpit South
District, Schools Division of Bulacan will conduct SCHOOL BRIGADA ESKWELA KICK-OFF
PROGRAM on August 14, 2023, 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon.
2. The activity shall focus on strengthening partnership engagements to complement Deped’s
efforts to ensure quality basic education in the new normal along with the promotion of Brigada
Pagbasa as a form of Brigada Eskwela to help reinforce literacy and numeracy through the help of
Deped partners and volunteers.
3. The participants in this program are all teachers in the school, BES PTCA General Officers, All
Parents, and the school head.
4. Immediate dissemination of this Memorandum is desired.

SLAC ON TEACHERS MENTAL HEALTH : “MANAGING STRESS IN THE WORKPLACE”

1. In line with the Department of Education Memorandum Order No. 072, series of 2021 which
states that all DepEd offices are instructed to include and promote the national and regional
helplines of Circle of Hope Community Services, Inc., COVID 19 Mental Health Responders from
the Masters Psychological Services, Hopeline PH, and the 700 Club Asia in events and programs –
these helplines can provide various ways to support DepEd learners and personnel and may provide
mental health and psychosocial support services as well as wellness checks, Balite Elementary
School will conduct a School Learning Action Cell on Teachers Mental Health : “Managing Stress
in the Workplace” on September 29, 2023, 1:00 PM at BES Grade One classroom.
2. The objective if this training are :
a. to raise awareness about the mental health continuum;
b.reduce stigma associated with mental illness;
c.promote help seeking behaviors and emotional well-being practices; and
d. prevent suicide through individual education and outreach events among teachers.
3. The participants in this activity are all teaching, and non-teaching staff of the school

PROTECTION COMMITTEE (CPC) AND LEARNER PROTECTION IN SCHOOLS

1. In line with the DepEd Order No. 40 s. 2012 titled “DepEd Child Protection Policy”, all public
and private elementary and secondary schools nationwide shall establish a functional Child
Protection Committee (CPC) in schools, and Regional Memorandum No. 339, s. 2023, Balite
Elementary School shall conduct a School Training Workshop on the Strengthening/Functionality
of the Child Protection Committee (CPC) and Learner Protection in Schools” on October 26, 2023,
3:00 PM at BES Grade One classroom.
2. The objective if this training are :
a. identify existing DepEd policies and issuances on learner rights and protection ;
b. determine specific functions of the Child Protection Committee (CPC) in schools;
c. understand the duties and responsibilities of the school in handling of learner rights and
protection concerns;
d. harmonize all procedures and interventions implemented in schools in relation to learners
protection ;
e. revisit local child protection policy of the school ;
f. ensure that all incidents of child abuse, violence, exploitation, discrimination, bullying and
other similar acts are properly addressed.
3. The participants in this activity are all teaching, and non-teaching staff of the school
4. Expenses incidental to the conduct of the training shall be charged against local fund subject to
usual accounting and auditing procedures, rules and regulations.
5. The program of activities and the training matrix are contained in Enclosure 1. Enclosure 2
contains the work committee and the program.
6. Immediate dissemination on the content of this memorandum is earnestly desired.

Lessons", Balite and DepEd Order No. 2, s. 2015 prescribing the Guidelines on the Establishment
and Implementation of the Results-Based Performance Management System (RPMS) in the
Department of Education, Elementary School shall conduct a School Learning Action Cell on the
Preparation of Teacher’s Daily Lesson Log and Daily Lesson Plan Presentation and Classroom
Observation Tool 2023 on November 17, 2023, 3:00 PM at BES Grade Two classroom.
2. The objective if this training are :
a provides teachers with an opportunity for reflection on what learners need to learn, how
learners learn, and how best to facilitate the learning process;
b. It provides teachers with constructive critical feedback in order to improve their
classroom management and instructional techniques. For teachers it is important to
observe the interaction between teacher-learner within the classroom because it can
determine the learning opportunities that learners get.
3. The participants in this activity are all teaching, and non-teaching staff of the school
4. Expenses incidental to the conduct of the training shall be charged against local fund subject to
usual accounting and auditing procedures, rules and regulations.

1. In compliance to Deped Memorandum No. 069, s. 2023, dated November 17, 2023 titled
Guidelines in the Implementation of the Project : Deped’s 236,000 trees: A Christmas Gift for the
Children, Balite Elementary School shall conduct the School Tree-Planting Activity on December
6, 2023 at Balite Elementary School.
2. The project serves as a gift of the Department to ensure a clean and green environment for
Filipino learners and future generations. In addition, this project provides a unique educational
opportunity for the learners to actively participate in tree planting activities, fostering a deeper
understanding of environmental issues and promoting conservation efforts. Through hands-on
learning and practical application of environmental concepts, learners will develop a strong sense of
responsibility towards the environment.
3. The school shall identify a maximum of 30 participants composed of not more than 10 teachers,
and not more than 20 learners who will participate in the tree-planting.
4. As indicated in DM No. 069, s. 2023 classes in all DepEd public schools will be on asynchronous
mode on this day. However, the school may resume face-to-face classes after the said activity since
the activity will be conducted within the school premises.
5. The school should consider the necessary resources for the activity, such as tree-planting tools
and materials for tree care. However, it should be emphasized that there is no need to buy the
materials for the tree-planting activity.
6. The school shall submit the accomplishment reports for the activity using the provided template
on or before December 12, 2023 for proper consolidation.

1. Pursuant to the Department of Education’s mandate to ensure access to quality basic education
for all, this office adheres to DepEd Order No. 32 s. 2017, titled Gender-Responsive Basic
Education Policy , which provides the “guidelines for Gender-Responsive Basic Education that
shall allow the Department to integrate the principles of gender equality, gender equity, gender
sensitivity, non-discrimination, and human rights in the provision and governance of basic
education.”
2. The Office of Undersecretary for Governance and Field Operations issued OUGFO
Memorandum 2022-02-153 which reiterates the strict implementation of and compliance to
DepEd Order No. 32 s. 2017 for the School Year 2022-2023.
3. In line with the aforementioned, the school will conduct a Face-to-Face Gender and
Development Seminar on December 7, 2023 from 8:00 am – 5:00 pm atBalite Elementary
School, Balite, Calumpit, Bulacan.

4. The activity aims to:

a. Integrate the principles of gender equality, gender equity, gender sensitivity, non-
discrimination and human rights in the provision and governance of basic education.
b. Educate all teaching and non-teaching personnel in assessing gender policies and
activities and understanding update laws and other related policies.
c. Provide them with a resource material for developing life skills.

To ensure continuous government improvement towards seamless public delivery, Balite

Elementary School is required to submit a report on the result of its client satisfaction survey for
Fiscal Year 2023. Such requirement is anchored in the Republic Act (RA) No. 11032 or the Ease
of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018 and Memorandum
Circular (MC) No. 2019-002 dated August 13, 2019, entitled, Guidelines on the
Implementation of the Citizen’s Charter in Compliance to RA 11032. In addition, streamlining
of activities and the establishment of a harmonized client/citizen satisfaction survey is an eligibility
criterion for the grant of the Performance-Based Bonus (PBB) specified in MC No. 2020-1
issued by the Inter-Agency Task Force (AO25 IATF) on the Harmonization of the National
Government Performance Monitoring, Information and Reporting System.

Fortunately, the school has been in collaboration to achieve favorable rating on Client Satisfaction.
This is in cognizance of the importance of client feedback in the assessment of the quality of our
service delivery and identified those needing improvement and intervention.

Date : 03 January 2023

1. After the selection of potential pupil-athletes during the School Intramurals last December 1, 2023,
this office is informing the field that the school will be holding a rigid training for all the selected
athletes on January 3 – 5, 2024.

2.The Cut-off Birth Date for Elementary is January 1, 2011. All participating athletes should be a
member of the School Sports Club. School Sports Coordinator shall register the athletes using the
SSC Form 1 and SSC Form 2 which are already available and existing to the schools.

3. The activity aims to;

a. enhance the skills and competitiveness of the players in preparation for the District Athletic Meet
2024; and
b. instill and imbibe among the pupils-athletes the spirit of discipline, team work, excellence, fair play,
solidarity, sportsmanship and other values inherent in sports.

4. Assigned Coaches and Chaperons will be the facilitators of the clinic.
