How to upgrade the Firmware

Device information:

Precautions

1.Confirm that the correct FW is provided,Confirm whether the current FW is a baseline or a


customization in advance ;
2.Make sure that the network is stable and the power is not interrupted during the upgrade
process .The unstable network and power failure may cause abnormal condition of the device .
1. Web page

Access to upgrade interface on webpage interface .


Login NVR webpage <Maintain<Manager<Update.

Click Browse to select the upgrading FW (You need to unzip the FW ,and select the main FW ,bin
file to upgrade).
After that Click Update button .

Check the result:


2. Config Tool

2.1. Download Config Tool

Confirm your pc and your device are same network segment;Then run the config tool;You can
download configure from Tool Box

2.2 Upgrade

Turn to Device Upgrade<Click Search Setting


Type the device user name and password ,Click OK;Otherwise ,you cannot upgrade successfully.

Click the device which you want to upgrade ,and Click file path(You need to unzip the FW ,and
select the main FW ,bin file to upgrade ).

After that ,Click the Upgrade operation icon.

Check the result :


3. Smart pss

3.1 Download smart pss


In tool box you can install the smart pss

3.2 Add device

Run smart pss and add the device


Auto search or manual Add the device
3.3 Upgrade

Go to device config page

Click which device you want to upgrade ,and click Upgrade

Select Bin .file


After finishing the upgrade process ,it will reboot.

Check the result :


4. Local side

4.1 Format the Pen drive


Generally ,we suggest our customer to format the pen drive to FAT32 .After that put the bin file
to pen drive .and plugin the pen drive to the USB interface of the NVR .

4.2 Upgrade on local side


In display ,it will pop up the Backup device found ,and click update

Click update ,and select main bin file.


Click OK ,it will updating.

After finishing the update ,the device will reboot,


Check the result:
Main menu<Maintain<System info
