CHAPTER FOUR

4.1 CONCLUSION
In conclusion, I benefited a lot in the field attachment in a way that I managed to put into
practice the theoretical knowledge acquired at KONOIN TTI through the many activities, tasks
and assignments that I was instructed to do.

I improved skills like teamwork, interpersonal relationship, listening, presentation skills, acting
freely around people, conflict resolution, organizational skills to mention but a few.

Finally, I got different ideas from the different people (employees) at the organization and also
through interacting with other attachees from KONOIN Technical Training Institute and this
contributed a lot on the knowledge and experience.

4.2 RECOMMENDATION
I recommend that the institution should provide some attachment fee to enable students have an easier
time.

4.2.1 TO THE INSTITUTION

More opportunities to students to do intern in their Institution; The intern would also recommend
the Institution to continue giving attachment placements to as many students as they can because
some miss this experience which is also important requirement of the institution due to the fact
that they failed to get placements.

Allowances, the organization should give allowances to trainees most especially transport
allowances to cater for transport cost most students stay far from the attachment places hence
increasing my expenses. Therefore the intern recommends the Organization to put that in to
action in order to motivate interns and boost their productivity levels in performing their tasks
during the field attachment.

5
Serious supervision to the workers and students, the organization should increase and ensure
more supervision over the employees in order to work effectively and also eliminate workers
who relax, work lazily and perform actively after seeing their supervisor

 Timely Assessment

I recommend that the Institute carries out constant supervision and monitoring of students during
the attachment period so as to encourage them to perform the duties fully and also accurately.
This will also put a close link between the academic supervisors and the field supervisors so as to
foster appropriate assessment of what the attachees are doing in the field. It is not a must that the
assessors physically visit the organization from time to time but even making a phone call so that
they visit when the attachee is practically doing the core activity, e.g. service of food and
beverages and also food production

 Secure Placements For Students.

The institution should help students to secure attachment positions according to their respective
programs undertaken at the institution through giving students recommendations in order to ease
their training periods and also avoid the gotten by students in search of attachment placements

Should continue with attachment program, this is because it helps to prepare the students for
their careers in future and also enable the students to practice the theoretical knowledge obtained
during class be exercised practically. It also helps to develop students understanding of work
ethics,
