When you turn on your water supply, make sure to turn it on full-force. You do
not want just a trickle of water reaching your pump.
This mist pump is turned on and off using the switch mounted on the pump. The
mist pump should be plugged into a standard 110v outlet.
WARNING: The nylon tubing must be handled with care. Do not over-
tighten fittings when securing them to the tubing. Do not kink or make any
sharp bends with the nylon tubing.
The tee will split the water line in two, supplying both of your Mist360 fans with
water. Cut two pieces of nylon tubing to the appropriate length to reach your
Mist360 fans. The photo above shows the tee and two compression unions
installed on the tubing. These compression unions attach the nylon tubing to the
stainless steel water lines on your mist fans. The length of your tubing after the tee
will be determined by the location of your 2 mist fans. Use the plastic cable
clamps included to secure your nylon tubing in place.
Now the system is ready to test. No nozzles should be installed at this point.
Make sure water is turned on to the pump/motor and start pump. The pressure
gauge should register movement and within 60 seconds water should discharge
from the nozzle ports. Once this occurs turn off the system and install 9 nozzles on
each unit—nozzles only need be hand tight until O ring seats on port—do not use a
wrench to install nozzles. Turn on the system again to ensure water is exiting the
nozzle port that is open. Turn off the system and install the final nozzle. Turn
system on and pressure should build causing the system to mist out of each nozzle.
If a nozzle is not working, turn off the system and remove and check the nozzle.
