Water Supply
Attach the low pressure hose, included in this kit, to the water inlet barb on the
blue canister. This hose attaches to your water source. Use the ½” brass hose barb
included to attach the hose to your water supply, or otherwise use your own
fittings. This is the only water attachment on your system. Do not attach a water
supply to any other connection.

When you turn on your water supply, make sure to turn it on full-force. You do
not want just a trickle of water reaching your pump.

WARNING: NEVER RUN YOUR PUMP WITHOUT FIRST TURNING

ON YOUR WATER SUPPLY. THAT WILL DAMAGE YOUR PUMP.

Mist Pump
The mist pump included with your system is calibrated to supply the necessary
water to your Mist360 mist fans. The mist pump does not turn the mist fans on or
off. The mist fans need to be wired to a separate electric switch. Please do not
make any adjustments to your mist pump. Your mist pump is designed to sit on
the floor.

WARNING: NEVER RUN YOUR PUMP WITHOUT FIRST TURNING

ON YOUR WATER SUPPLY. THAT WILL DAMAGE YOUR PUMP.

This mist pump is turned on and off using the switch mounted on the pump. The
mist pump should be plugged into a standard 110v outlet.

Connect the 10’ High Pressure Synflex Coiled Tubing to the water outlet port on
the mist pump. Do not uncoil this tubing. Either end of the coiled tubing will
connect to the water outlet port on the pump.

Water Lines
The 3/16” Nylon Tubing is the line that carries water to your Mist360 fans. One
hundred fifty feet of 3/16” tubing is included in this kit. An adapter is pre-installed
on one end of the nylon tubing. This adapter connects the 3/16” Nylon Tubing to
the coiled hose attached to the mist pump.

WARNING: The nylon tubing must be handled with care. Do not over-
tighten fittings when securing them to the tubing. Do not kink or make any
sharp bends with the nylon tubing.

Determine the layout of your 2-fan system. You will run the 3/16” nylon tubing
towards the install location of your two Mist360 fans, cut the tubing, and then you
will install the 3/16” compression tee onto the tubing. When you install this tee,
hand-tighten it onto the tubing, then use a wrench and tighten the hex on the tee no
more than ½ turn. Do not over-tighten this tee as this will damage the tubing.

The tee will split the water line in two, supplying both of your Mist360 fans with
water. Cut two pieces of nylon tubing to the appropriate length to reach your
Mist360 fans. The photo above shows the tee and two compression unions
installed on the tubing. These compression unions attach the nylon tubing to the
stainless steel water lines on your mist fans. The length of your tubing after the tee
will be determined by the location of your 2 mist fans. Use the plastic cable
clamps included to secure your nylon tubing in place.

After hanging your fans in their proper location, run the nylon tubing to your mist
fans and connect each tube to the fan’s water line.

Now the system is ready to test. No nozzles should be installed at this point.
Make sure water is turned on to the pump/motor and start pump. The pressure
gauge should register movement and within 60 seconds water should discharge
from the nozzle ports. Once this occurs turn off the system and install 9 nozzles on
each unit—nozzles only need be hand tight until O ring seats on port—do not use a
wrench to install nozzles. Turn on the system again to ensure water is exiting the
nozzle port that is open. Turn off the system and install the final nozzle. Turn
system on and pressure should build causing the system to mist out of each nozzle.
If a nozzle is not working, turn off the system and remove and check the nozzle.
