• NRS 482.385 requires new residents to register all vehicles operated in the state of
Nevada within 30 days of becoming a resident or at the time they obtain a driver’s license,
whichever occurs earlier.

verification with the Department of Homeland Security, it is your responsibility to resolve
any discrepancies to ensure issuance of your driver’s license or identification card.
