My PhD research focused on developing self-powered broadband photodetectors using the pyro-
phototronic effect in various dimensional hybrid structures. These photodetectors, which operate
without external power sources, combine photovoltaic and pyro-phototronic effects to enhance
performance by generating electric charges through light-induced temperature changes. The study
also developed photodetectors with binary photoresponse for efficient and reliable on/off states
under different conditions. By integrating 0D fullerenes, 1D nanowires/nanorods, 2D nanosheets,
and 3D nanoflowers, the research enhanced the broadband detection capabilities, sensitivity, and
stability of the photodetectors for various applications.

My M.Sc research focused on synthesizing and characterizing Al-Li co-doped NiO and Mn-doped
ZnTiO₃, investigating their structural, optoelectronic, electrical, and photosensing properties. I
enhanced the material properties using advanced synthesis techniques and conducted detailed
structural analysis through XRD and SEM to determine crystallographic and morphological
characteristics. The optoelectronic properties, including band gap modifications due to doping,
were evaluated using UV-Vis spectroscopy. Electrical conductivity and carrier concentration
changes were measured through Hall effect measurements. Additionally, the photosensing
capabilities were assessed by measuring the response of these materials to light exposure,
demonstrating enhanced sensitivity and stability. These studies provided insights into the potential
applications of these doped materials in optoelectronic devices, sensors, and other advanced
technologies.
