Investment Highlights
Positive Long – Term Perspective for Copper.
Chile: a Friendly Mining Jurisdiction.
Large porphyry targets.
Easy Access to Infrastructure.
Good relations with local communities.
Road ready and in good condition.
All set to start Exploration Campaign.
Key result
Key criteria that were confirmed during the visit
include the presence of:
1) more than one intrusive event;
2) porphyry Cu alteration;
3) tourmaline breccias;
4) quartz vein stockworks; and
5) Cu oxides.
The property contains intrusive rocks of favorable
age that have been cut by tourmaline breccias
with sericite altered clasts. These units are all
within a world class porphyry Cu district and for
these reasons alone the property is
recommended for further work.

Mine property and historical data

operating properties that can be acquired.
In the area there are previous geological-prospective works
by Codelco, who finally built an access road and executed
two DDH holes. Although the results are unknown, it is
estimated that they were positive, considering the
fragments of core on the platform. These correspond to
pieces of a qz-dioritic porphyry with bt-mt-chl-cpy-py
alteration, and tourmaline-sericite-cpy-py breccias.
immediately to the south, Codelco has a second
hydrothermal alteration zone, called the Cenicero Project,
which also includes a tourmaline breccia, where one of the
holes cut >150m with 0.4%Cu+Mo, which indicates the
fertility of the breccias (verbal communication from a
geologist who participated in the drilling campaign).

Metallogenic Arc
Rincón project is located in the
metallogenic belt of giant copper
porphyry of Miocene age (Los
Pelambres of 9-14 my, with
6Bt@0,52%Cu + Mo.
Rincon Project corresponds to a zone of
hydrothermal alteration type PCu-Mo of
Miocene age. It is characterized by the Los
Pelambres
presence of multiple Miocene Mine
intrusions, with qz-dioritic biotite-
hornblende porphyries that intrude a
volcano-sedimentary sequence assigned
to the Salamanca Fm (Lower Tertiary).
The rocks are strongly affected by high-
angle, NS reverse faulting, which folds
the layered rocks, controls the siting of
intrusives, and hydrothermal
development.

Rincon Project Geology
The project area comprises a Cu-Mo Porphyry
type hydrothermal alteration zone, of Miocene
age.
It is characterized by the presence of multiple
intrusions of quartz-dioritic porphyries of biotite
– hornblende, which intrudes a volcano-
sedimentary sequence assigned to the Los
Pelambres Fm.
The rocks are strongly affected by high-angle N-S
reverse faulting, which folds the stratified rocks,
controls the emplacement of intrusives and
hydrothermal development.
The relevant prospective feature corresponds to
a zone of tourmaline breccias qz-ser-py / to,
which extend for more than 2 x 0.3 km,
unfortunately cannot be continued due to the
large amount of alluvial and colluvial sediments.

Geology around the hydrothermal breccia of quartz-tourmaline
The relevant and easily observable prospective
feature corresponds to a zone of qz-ser-py
tourmaline breccias, which extend for more
than 2km.
In the area there are previous geological-
prospective works, by Codelco, who finally built
an access road and executed 2 DDH drillings.
Although the results are unknown, it is
estimated that they were not positive,
considering the control fragments on the
platform. These correspond to pieces of a qz-
dioritic porphyry with bt-mt-chl-py alteration
and tourmaline-sericite-py breccias.

Geology around the hydrothermal breccia of quartz-tourmaline
At least 3 phases of biotite-amphibole quartz-dioritic porphyries are recognized. The first / pre-
mineral are characterized by chloritization of the ferromagnesians; the second / inter-mineral are
affected by a weak biotitization of hornblende, with magnetite and traces of disseminated Py- (Cp);
and finally a third event / tardi a completely fresh post-mineral or with chlorite veins.
Between the second and third events, a
tourmaline breccia complex was
generated, strongly controlled by N-S
faulting. These breccias are
characterized by porphyry fragments
from events 1 and 2, affected by
kaolinite-illite alteration in their center
and sericitic exterior. The matrix -
cement is tourmaline - (pyrite-
chalcopirite).
Both in the North and in the South,
propylitic-pyritic alteration is observed,
which would show the extensiveness of
hydrothermalism.

Drillholes in Rincon Project
Codelco drilled two holes within the main
valley. The first of these, hole DDH-3006
(350,427E; 6,503,849N; elevation 3801m),
was drilled with an azimuth of 085° and has
an inclination of 60°. The second hole is hole
DDH-3005 (350,609E; 6,504,407N; elevation
3829 m), was drilled with an azimuth of 060°
and an inclination of 65°. Both of these holes
are targeting the tourmaline breccia at depth. Qz-Tourmaline breccia
In the visits to the area have reported pieces
of core with biotite-chlorite altered quartz
diorite, chalcopyrite and pyrite mineralization,
and sericite altered tourmaline breccias.
On the other hand, 5km to the south, Codelco
has a second hydrothermal alteration zone /
tourmaline breccia, where one of the DDH
wells cut >150m with 0.4% Cu + Mo, which
indicates the fertility of the breccias. DDH-3005 of Codelco

Conclusions and recommendations
The Rincon Project corresponds to the apical part of a Porphyry Cu-Mo
system, of Miocene age with pre-mineral coverage.
In general, these intrusive rocks are the same as those rocks
mineralized found at Los Pelambres Mine.
Although the work carried out by Codelco includes only two DDH
holes, it is estimated that the system has not been properly recognized
in depth.
Finally, it is important to emphasize that this area has become a
cluster, considering the fertility of the hydrothermal alteration systems
of the Miocene, inserted in the immediate proximity to Los Pelambres
Mine, El Pachon Project, Cenicero Project and Altar Project.
