The same thing happened with me. Now what you can do is open telegram web and there
you will find “telegram” in your inbox list. Open it and you will find a lot of msgs with otp.
Yes, all those otp’s for logging into telegram is sent to the telegram app itself. Mindfuck?
Been there.

So now all you have to do is trying logging in with your phone again and you will recieve your
otp in telegram web. KUDOS!!

Why are you unable to reinstall it? Has someone taken your hamster hostage? Are they
threatening to kill the hamster, if you reinstall Telegram?

Reinstalling is easy. Just pretend it was never installed, and install it normally.

code the first time but after a few days I Uninstalled the app and now I try to log in with my

I don't see that option anymore.
Telegram actually verifies phone by detecting the call on your smartphone. But it actually
fails to detects the call. So, there are two options for verification now, one is obviously text
message and if you attach your Google account to your telegram, you can receive the email.

Once you sign in with Google, telegram only verifies your number via email only

You could try accessing the code on a device where you’re already logged in, it gets sent to
your active sessions as well. So if you have Telegram logged in on your PC or in the browser,
you can still get it.

If you don’t have any means to see the code, you won’t be able to log in. This leaves you
with 6 months to log back in as Telegram accounts self-destruct after 6 months of total
inactivity (by default, you can change it to a year or a month/3 months in the settings.)
