Objective: To develop an understanding of inclusive practices and

their impact on student learning.
Summarize the key points about inclusion from the video.
A. The 2020 Global Educational Monitoring Report on Inclusion and Education
emphasizes that “Education is strongest when it embraces diversity.”

B. Instead of expecting learners to adapt to the system, the education system

should adapt to meet the diverse needs of learners.

C. When learners are not welcomed properly in schools, they are less likely to
succeed in their education.

D. In some underprivileged countries, there remains a stark division between

children with special needs and their peers.
E. Flawed policies often lead schools to favor certain groups of children while
neglecting others.

F. Many students leave school without receiving the education they deserve due to
systemic neglect and ignorance.

G. Believing in the power of education means believing in the importance of

inclusion.

H. Since children learn at different paces, the curriculum should be flexible,

creative, and relevant to individual needs.

I. Teacher preparation is crucial; educators must receive proper training to

implement meaningful reforms.

J. To address these challenges, schools must open their doors to society, fostering
collaboration and collective efforts to drive change.

Describe the three strategies you selected and explain how you plan
to implement them in your classroom.
A. If learners are not welcomed properly in schools they are less
likely to learn.
I noticed that in schools some children are not properly welcomed. Some
reasons are behind this thing, but now resources are present in ECCE
classroom. We can welcome new children with the help of ECCE kits. In this
way a child will not feel strange in school.

B. Division between Special and Normal Students:

This is big problem in our country. But this thing should be avoided. To
solve this problem I design tasks and games according to the abilities of all
students. In this way no one will feel any difference during participation.
C. Work together to overcome the problems.
I involve all stakeholders for purpose of inclusion. Stakeholders may be
other teachers, parents and members of society. Stakeholders can work
and boost confidence in all children with different abilities. So that children
can grow together.

Reflect on how these strategies can benefit all students, including

those with and without disabilities.
Overall purpose of strategies is inclusion. Inclusion works best for students with
different kind of abilities. Some of the specific purpose of each strategy is.
A. Diversity is necessary for development of any society. Thus education
system should accept diversity. So children will get equal chances for
success.
B. System of education and policies should be flexible. So it can accept all kind
of learners to get proper learning.
C. New comers should be welcomed in proper way. So children may not feel
any strange thing in school.
D. Division between all kinds of student should be checked. In this way
student can get equal opportunities.
E. Flawed policies to favor some children should be addressed. As each and
every children have right to get equal opportunity of education.
F. Negligence of students should be discouraged and sense of inferiority in
student can be neglected. In this way learners will get motivation to do
something very good.
G. Education should work towards inclusion. If we want to educate our
generations inclusion is necessary for education.
H. Pace of learning for all learners should get importance. Curriculum
designed on this base will benefit all children with different pace of
learning.
I. Teachers trainings should be must for all teachers. Training refreshes the
abilities of teachers. Many teachers may get new ideas and thoughts about
methods of teaching.
J. Community involvement can work well because most of time of children is
spent in community instead of school. This inclusion works with more
power than any other factor.
