Christ centered family in the society:

Effects or results of a Christ-Centered Life on the Family:

1. Put God in the center:


A Christ center family always put God in the center of their lives. Through this all members of
family try to live their lives according to God’s will, in order to live in the faith on
Christ(Ephesians 5:1-2).

2. Respect and honor through their words and actions


A Christ centered family shows respect and honor to each other through their words and actions.
All the members of the family shows their love to each other by respect each other. This also
reflects the Christ presence in the family (Eph. 5:21, 6:1-2).
3. Obedience to God:
A Christ center family committed itself to obedience to God's will. The family believe that true
peace and fulfilment found only in the doing of the God’s will. John 14:15 “If you love me, you
will keep my commandments.”
4. Endurance through trials:
A Christ centered family find their strength in the lord in times of suffering or hardships.
They believe and trust in the lord for their deliverance from the time of suffering because
they know that God is faithful as 1 Corinthians 1:9 says “God is faithful, by whom you
were called into the fellowship of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”
5. Moral and ethical living:
In a Christ-centered family, moral integrity and ethical behavior are fundamental. Family
members live according to biblical standards, seeking righteousness and justice in all
their dealings (Ephesians 5:3-7). They uphold the values of truth, kindness, and purity in
their relationships and actions.
6. Prayer and spiritual disciplines:
A Christ-centered family gives importance to the prayer and spiritual disciplines. By
doing regular prayer, bible reading, and worship. They chose to grow closer to God and
to each other, and seeking the deep spiritual connection to the lord. (Ephesians 6:18).

Effect of the Christ centered family in the society:
Christ-centered family effects society. When family live according to Christ’s teachings that are rooted in
love, compassion, humility, and justice. It influences how they interact with the world around them.

1. Serve the society by providing the physical and emotional need of the society: as Jesus
severed his disciples, Christ centered family also called to serve the world/society. Jesus’
life and teachings were centered on serving others, washing his disciples’ feet (John
13:1-17) or feeding the hungry (Matthew 14:13-21). A Christ centered family help the
needy by providing the shelter to the homeless, food to those who don’t have food, give
the emotional support to those who are emotionally suffering, and so on.
2. Help to reconciliation with the Christ: A Christ centered family promote the
atmosphere of forgiveness and reconciliation. Jesus taught forgiveness, urging believers
to forgive others just as God forgives them (Matthew 6:14-15). Forgiveness is exercise
that a Christ centered family always practice as mode before the world to convey the
message of reconciliation through the forgiveness, and when people forgive each other
the ultimately their relationship with each other restore.
3. Promoting the peace of Christ to the world: Christ centered family promotes peace in
the world. Jesus is called the "Prince of Peace" (Isaiah 9:6), and he encouraged his
followers to be peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). Paul also gives importance to peace, saying
that Christians are called to live in peace with everyone (Romans 12:18). a Christ
centered family obey the commandment of the Christ to promote peace in their own
relationships and extending that peace into the wider community.
4. Sharing the Gospel: A Christ centered family effect the society by promoting the gospel
in the society By living out their faith and sharing the gospel, a Christ-centered family
can bring people to Christ, both through words and actions (Matthew 28:19-20). They
can invite others into their lives, share testimonies of God’s goodness, and be bold in
proclaiming the hope found in Jesus. Jesus commanded his disciples, go to the world and
make the world known about me. Therefore as a family was transformed through the
gospel, Christ centered family commanded by Christ Himself to transform the world by
preaching the gospel to the world. By sharing the gospel Christ centered family give
hope to the hopeless world.
5. Stand for the oppressed: A Christ centered family stand against the world’s oppression
on voiceless people by stand for them or stand with them by helping them to meet their
rights and needs. This lead to the society shift to inequality to equality. Jesus Himself
was an advocate for the marginalized—He healed the sick, befriended sinners, and
defended the poor and oppressed (Luke 4:18). He came to proclaim "good news to the
poor" and to bring release to the captives.
