NARRATOR/ZYRA: Alunsina, the goddess of the eastern sky, was destined to marry at the time of
her coming of age. Her mother, Kaptani, queen of the gods and goddesses, decided to marry her
daughter to the suitor of her choice. Kaptani used her voice to inform the various gods in different
worlds and to prepare them for the grand feast that would take place within the kingdom.
KAPTANI/LJ: To all the gods who hear me now, I have used my powers to reach you with my voice.
My daughter, Alunsina, is destined to marry, so you may approach her and offer gifts. My daughter
will decide who she will choose and who will join her in her new kingdom.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: The various gods in different kingdoms and worlds immediately prepared when
they heard the news from Kaptani. Some even took five months to reach Alunsina’s kingdom.
Everyone arrived in the kingdom, and many brought gold and precious jewels from different eras. The
number of visitors was countless, so the courtship of the gods lasted for a month.
GOD 1/CHARLES: A very pleasant day to you, Alunsina. This is my offering. Accept this, and I
promise you will be happy.
GOD 2/BRANDON: Oh, Alunsina, who is so beautiful. Do you see what I carry? I offer you these
jewels for you.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: Thank you, and you have poured your time and effort here in our kingdom. But,
I haven’t chosen anyone yet.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: The gods did not object or ask any further questions. They would just wait for
her decision, even though she had not chosen or even recognized any of her suitors.
KAPTANI/LJ: My dear daughter, why are you making your suitors wait? Don’t you have a favorite
among them?
ALUNSINA/RHEA: Mother Queen, I still haven’t chosen anyone. Will no one else come?
KAPTANI/LJ: There are none, my child.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Alunsina’s mind was confused, so she decided to leave the kingdom and
choose to be alone. She had been looking at the lower land for a long time. She also wondered what
life was like down there because she couldn’t go down to earth, or she would be scolded by the Queen
Mother.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: There are so many colors down there. I wonder if I could go there.

NARRATOR/ZYRA: Since she had nowhere else to go, she took the path to earth by stepping on the
rainbow formed by the angels of heaven.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: This is beautiful! I didn’t expect this! (Datu Paubri enters)
DATU PAUBRI/THIRD: What am I supposed to do? I’ve searched the ocean, climbed the highest
mountains, and still haven’t found what I’m looking for.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: Why didn’t I think of coming here?
DATU PAUBRI/THIRD: I’m tired. I didn’t like any of the princesses they introduced to me.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: As far as I know, immortals live here.
DATU PAUBRI/THIRD: I hope that when I count to three, I will see a beautiful maiden as beautiful
as a goddess. One… Two… Th-
ALUNSINA/RHEA: Who are you?
DATU PAUBRI/THIRD: Y-you’re so b-beautiful…
ALUNSINA/RHEA: You’re an immortal, aren’t you? Would you mind to tour me around?
(Music enters)
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Datu Paubri did not hesitate to show Alunsina around. They became good
friends while visiting the beautiful places in the world. They were so happy, a feeling they had never
felt before. Their tour ended when they saw a rainbow.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Datu Paubri couldn’t help but be amazed by the beauty and vastness of the sky.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Alunsina brought Datu Paubri to the kingdom of the goddesses of the sky. As
they walked, many noticed Alunsina’s companion. They were shocked to find that he was an
immortal.
KAPTANI/LJ: And who told you to bring an immortal to my kingdom? What you did is against the
law! And you, immortal, don’t you know that you are talking to a powerful goddess?
ALUNSINA/RHEA: Mother Queen, I brought him here, and my mind is made up.
KAPTANI/LJ: What do you mean?
ALUNSINA/RHEA: I’m ready to get married. I want to marry Datu Paubri!

NARRATOR/ZYRA: Alunsina announced her decision to her suitors, but many disagreed with her.
Many were angry, and others left the kingdom without saying goodbye.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: The next day, the two were married and held a grand feast in the halawod ruled
by Datu Paubri. However, the gods left some warnings that they would do something bad to the
newlyweds, which worried the entire kingdom. The gods gathered to destroy the halawod by pouring
heavy rain to cause a flood.
NHOVA: Congratulations Newlyweds!
MELODY: What’s your plan in the future? When do you guys plan to have kids?
ALUNSINA/RHEA: We don’t know yet
JESSICA: I really hope you’ll both be surrounded with love and peace newlyweds.
ZYRA: Congrats to the both of you! I’m really happy! But excuse me first I’m gonna go get
something.
(Suklang Malayon enters)
SUKLANG MALAYON/CAILEIGH: Alunsina, Datu Paubri! You need to leave the halawod right
now. There will be a great flood soon.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: What? But how will we leave here?
SUKLANG MALAYON/CAILEIGH: I will help you. I will make sure I save you from the disaster
that will happen.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: With the help of Suklang Malayon, the goddess and guardian of happy homes,
Alunsina’s sister, the newlyweds escaped. She knew the gods’ evil intentions and immediately
advised the two. After the great disaster, the two secretly returned to the halawod.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Seven months had passed, The couple bore 3 children named Labaw Donggon,
Humadapdun, and Dumalapdap. Datu Paubri went to Bungot Banwa to ensure the safety and health of
their children. The mountain chief performed strange rituals, burning incense and a little sandalwood.
On the other hand, Alunsina cared for and watched over their children.
DATU PAUBRI/THIRD: I ask you to pray for the safety and health of my children.
CHIEF/BRANDON: As you wish, but first give me your offering. (Ritual Ritual Ritual)
DATU PAUBRI/THIRD: Thank you very much.

NARRATOR/ZYRA: Datu Paubri was very happy to return home because he was eager to see his
family. But he didn’t know that something undesirable would happen to him that will cause his death.
(Action of Death)
NARRATOR/ZYRA: After a heavy rain and the shaking of the world, the three children became
strong and powerful men in the world. (OPENS BACKDROP) Their strong bodies signal that they are
the next rulers of the halawod. Months had passed since Datu Paubri died. The three brothers had their
own places in their home.
ALUSINA/RHEA: Good day, my strong children!
THREE: Good day, Mother!
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: Mother, can you please prepare my things because I want to court a
girl.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: Are you already thinking of getting married?
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: Maybe, Mother.
HUMADAPNON/ARVELLE: I have faith in you, my brother. Our lineage has handsome men.
DUMALAPDAP/RONRON: Me too. Just excel in your battles my brother!
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Labaw Donggon’s journey took seven days. On his journey, he passed by
beaches and hills. He climbed the highest mountains until he reached his destination. He immediately
approached the mother of the maiden he wanted to marry, but she gave him a challenge.
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: It is a pleasure to meet you. I am Labaw Donggon, and I want to
marry your two daughters.
MOTHER/TRISHA: I must tell you that my daughters hand are not easily won. Unless if you take the
challenge.
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: I will accept your challenge. What is it?
MOTHER/TRISHA: You must fight the monster, Manalintad.

LABAW DONNGON/SATHEA & MANALINTAD/CHARLES
NARRATOR/ZYRA: He faced the monster, Manalintad, and with the help of his magical belt, Labaw
Donggon killed it. To prove his victory, he cut off its tail and brought it to the mother of his bride-to-
be.
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: Here is proof that I have won!
MOTHER/TRISHA: I am happy that you have won, you can now have my children.
(Angoy Ginbitinan and Abyang Durunuun comes out)
ANGOY GINBITINAN/LOVYNE: Good day to you. I am Angoy Ginbitinan, your future wife.
ABYANG DURUUNUN/ALMERA: And I am your other future wife.
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: You guys are the most beautiful woman I have ever met. Marry me,
and we will be happy.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Months passed, and Labaw Donggon traveled again, this time to Gadium. His
journey took several months and as he stepped off his black boat, someone spoke.
SARAGNAYAN/THIRD: Who are you? I’ve never seen you here before.
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: I am Labaw Donggon. I am here to ask for the hand of your
beautiful daughter.
SARAGNAYAN/THIRD: (Laughing) Are you joking?It seems you know nothing. The one you’re
referring to is my wife!
LABAW DONGGON/SATHEA: In that case, I invite you to fight me. Whoever wins gets her.
FIGHT SCENE----
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Saragnayan accepted Labaw Donggon’s challenge. Their fight lasted seven
years. When Labaw Donggon released Saragnayan, he was still alive. Saragnayan grabbed a large tree
and began to beat Labaw Donggon with it. Labaw Donggon dodged, but he couldn’t avoid

Saragnayan’s blow. Soon, Labaw Donggon surrendered, and Saragnayan imprisoned him in the
depths of his home.
SARAGNAYAN/THIRD: Next time, find a true opponent. The last laugh is still mine.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Angoy Ginbitinan and Abyang Durunuun gave birth at the same time, both to
boys.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Only a few days passed before the two kids grew up. They learned that their
father was imprisoned, so Abyang Baranugan decided to find him. He prepared his travel gear and
finally found Saragnayan’s home.
BARANUGAN/JUSTIN: I am Abyang Baranugan, son of Labaw Donggon and Abyang Durunuun. I
am here to find my father and fight you.
SARAGNAYAN/THIRD: HAHAHA, are you joking? Just go home, child. You’re wasting my time!
BARANUGAN/JUSTIN: Fight me first before you talk.
----FIGHTING SCENE-----
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Abyang Baranugan and Saragayan fought. Abyang Baranugan won the battle,
freeing his father. Labaw Donggon’s defeat and imprisonment at the hands of Saragnayan angered his
brothers. Humadapnon was furious and cursed the god of the madyaas that he would avenge his
brother and kill every one of Saragnayan’s men.
NARRATOR/ZYRA: Fast Forward, Alunsina and her three Son have finally reunited together with
their wives. Humadapdon and Dumalapdap had found their lovely wives that made their family strong
and even more powerful. They’ve went through a lot of circumstances but at the end of the day, they
still got reunited together.
ALUNSINA/RHEA: I am so happy that you have returned and that we are together again.

NARRATO/ZYRA: After the feast, the three brothers separated to different parts of the world. Labaw
Donggon and his wives chose to live in the North, Humadapnon and his two wives in the South,
Dumalapdap and Lubay Lubyok Hanginun si Mahuyokhuyokan in the West, and Alunsina remained
in the East. There, they all lived happily ever after with strong faith and trust with each other.
