B. INTRODUCTION
The upcoming Brigada Eskwela 2024 has the theme: “Bayanihan para sa MATATAG na Paaralan”. Ilihan National High School with
the desire to provide quality education to all students. To achieve the said desire, we need to cooperate and participate and be
accountable for our schools.
Republic Act No. 8525, known as the Adopt-a-School Act in 1998, reinforces that it is the Policy of the State that provide quality
and relevant education to the Filipino Youth and to encourage private initiative to support public education. In connection with this, the
State shall implement programs to encourage private companies and enterprises to assist in the advancing and modernization of public
schools in the country, specifically those in necessitous provinces.
This can be realized through partnership and involvement of the whole community. Brigada Eskwela is an annual celebration of
DepEd’s public school which has been the responsibility of whole community to link and connect in the said activity. A school
maintenance program that involves all education stakeholders join in contributing their times and efforts and resources in making public
schools ready for the coming opening of classes.

In order to be successful in the implementation of Brigada Eskwela 2022-2023, an organization of the Work Force – the parents
and other volunteers is needed. With the leadership of the School Principal, PTA President and the Barangay Captain, the following
