Advantages and disadvantages of living in a
countryside
Benefits
1. Healthy environment - the water is quite pure. The air is fresh and the
foods are clean, especially vegetables.
2. Safety - country life is very peaceful and silent because, in the rural area,
the crime rate is much lower than the city.
3. Friendly people - People in here are helpful and kind to help you when you
have troubles. In countryside, people usually keep their eyes on neighbor's
estates.
Drawbacks
1. Lack of job - People don't need to hurry and have a lot of time, and
unemployment is still a serious issue. They don't earn so much money.
2. Lack of entertainment - There aren't such interesting things, such as going
to cinema, coffee shop, sports center, shopping malls … to do during free
time.
3. Unadvanced medical healthcare - healthcare services are not good.
Medical care in the countryside is less well-equipped than that of the cities.
It’s not easy to access to the hospitals or clinics which are usually located
far from the village.
