1. TOBLERONE
The Toblerone logo meaning is not caught at a glance. The logo
consists of a picture of a mountain that echoes the shape of the chocolate
bar and the word “Toblerone”. The mountain is believed to be the
Matterhorn which is in the Swiss Alps. When people buy a Toblerone bar and
see the mountain icon on the packaging, they are unlikely to have a good
look at it. But if they did, they would notice a white bear in the mountain
which is usually taken for snow.
Tobler incorporated it in the logo because Bern, the Swiss capital
where the bar was created, is called the “City of Bears” and its symbol is a
bear featured on the coat of arms of the city. Evidently, the Toblerone logo
meaning pays tribute to the birthplace of the popular nutty treat.
2. TOYOTA
The overlapping of the two perpendicular ovals inside the outer oval
symbolize "T" for Toyota, as well as a steering wheel representing the
vehicle itself. The outer oval symbolizes the world that embraces Toyota.
Each oval is contoured with different stroke thicknesses, similar to the brush
art in Japanese culture.
3. LG
The letters "L" and "G" in a circle symbolize the world, future, youth,
humanity, and technology. Our philosophy is based on Humanity. Also, it
represents LG's efforts to keep close relationships with our customers around
the world.
What most people don’t realize, though, is that those letters actually
help to create a face. The ‘L’ makes the nose and the ‘G’ makes up the rest
of the face. This gives the brand a human element, and makes it more
inviting and approachable.
4. FEDEX
The FedEx logo is mostly known for its tricky optical illusion. If you look
closely between letters E and X, you'll spot a white arrow. It stands
for speed, accuracy, strive for perfection, and perseverance in achieving
goals.
5. ADIDAS
Adidas is a popular sports apparel and shoe company. Three stripes
have always been a part of their logo, but in their most recent redesign, the
stripes are staggered to look like a mountain. The mountain represents the
challenges and obstacles athletes will face and overcome.
6. CETAPHIL
The essence of Cetaphil is in the name: the '-phil' at the end means
'love' while 'Cet' comes from the hydrating agent cetearyl alcohol. Cetaphil
therefore is the love of moisturizing and soothing skin.
7. HONDA
The Honda logo emblem has always been a version of the stylized
letter “H” on all products for the brand. The sign is symbolic of the “Honda”
name, but it has meaning beyond this too. According to some experts, the
symbol is also intended to look like a classic armchair, to symbolize safety.
8. AUDI
Four interlocking rings symbolised the merger of four automobile
manufacturers based in the German state of Saxony: Audi, DKW, Horch and
Wanderer became Auto Union AG. Here are brief details of the roots of
today's AUDI AG. The company Wanderer originated as a bicycle repair shop.
9. COACH
The iconic horse-and-cart emblem of the Coach logo portrays the
products' high quality and beauty.
10. JOLLIBEE
Lumba designed the first version of the Jollibee mascot taking
inspiration from comic books, Mickey Mouse, and Ronald McDonald. He and
Tony decided on a bee mascot to represent the Filipino people: hard-
working, good-hearted, and happy, even though they're busy.
