A. CLASS PLANNING AND ORGANIZATION

➢ Class objectives matched published course syllabus


➢ There were smooth transitions between activities
➢ The instructor use class time effectively

Comments: The class objectives aligned with the syllabus, focusing on analyzing themes in the assigned literary
text. Transitions between activities were smooth, moving from discussion to textual analysis. Class time was
well-managed, balancing teacher explanations and student participation.

B. KNOWLEDGE AND PREPARATION

➢ The instructor is well prepared for the class.


➢ The instructor is knowledgeable and current in the subject area
➢ The instructor presents facts, concepts, and examples from related fields
➢ The instructor suggests additional material to facilitate students learning
➢ The instructor explains tasks and assignments clearly

Comments: The instructor was well-prepared and demonstrated a strong understanding of the subject. They
provided relevant examples from related literary works and historical contexts, making the lesson more
engaging. Additional reading materials were suggested to deepen students’ understanding, and assignments
were explained clearly, ensuring everyone knew what was expected.

were clear and concise. Participation was actively encouraged, with sensitivity to varying skill levels. Audio-
visual materials were used effectively to enhance understanding.
D. ASSESSMENT/FACILITATION OF LEARNING OUTCOMES

Comments: The instructor successfully met the class objectives and provided extra materials to help students
learn better. They checked if students were prepared with their homework and encouraged everyone to take part
in class. Students were active and engaged throughout the lesson.

E. SUMMARY

Is there anything that you learnt, and would use in your teaching practice?
I learned that using extra materials and encouraging student participation makes the lesson more interesting. I
would also use clear explanations and ask more questions to keep students engaged.

Is there anything that you would have done differently?


I would give students more time to share their thoughts and ask questions. I would also use more visual
materials to make the lesson easier to understand.
