1. Aim and objectives of the assignments


This assignment aims to encourage students to relate and adopt the fundamental principles
of project management learned in Semester 05 to real-life case studies. Learning is done via
critically examining and analyzing case studies or projects (from documentaries, films, and
other reports) that depict organizational and management settings in the construction industry.

In line with the aim, the objectives are to enable the students to:
• Understand and synthesize information gained from the primary source of
reference.
• Critically appraise the information and analyze the key aspects mentioned in
the primary reference source.
• Relate to a topic area learned in class and pick up keywords, concepts,
management processes, theories, etc.
• Arrange the presentation content
• Present a critical analysis of the subject

2. Assignments and Timelines

3. Learning Outcomes
At the end of this task, students should be able to display professionalism in appreciating
project management concepts, principles, and applications for construction organization
(CLO2).

ASSIGNMENT 3
Section A: The task (RE-learning the fundamental concepts of construction project
management)

The students need to publish a prevailing project management poster on the theme of
“Transforming Malaysian Construction Management: Digital Solutions and
Collaborative Practices.” The poster will be subject to students’ creativity and innovative
insight and should reflect the chosen topic.

The A3 poster needs to be completed with a UiTM logo, and course subject. The poster's
content is based on the areas assessed in Section B with all references. Kindly insert a
disclaimer such as “the photos used herewith are for academic purposes only, and the
ownership belongs to the rightful owner”. The poster must be authentically your efforts to cross
reference to all references included therein (Do not cut and paste to avoid plagiarism). The
layout and fonts are entirely up to individual group ideas and creativity.

1. The poster needs to be written in English.


2. The language to be used must be understandable and cover the whole area of project
management to avoid misunderstanding in delivering the information.
3. You may use your creativity to design an infographic diagram (flowcharts, pictures,
etc.) on any relevant material stated in the poster.
4. The poster needs to be systematically planned and structured and concluded with a
concise summary of your findings.
5. Creative and appropriate visual presentation.
6. The poster must provide a concise description of the selected topic.
7. The size of the poster is A3.
