A friend

Dfn: A friend is a person in need of your help.

Friendship means a close relationship between people.

Jesus associated with all kinds of people by showing them his friendship.

 He healed the sick *( Mathew 8:1)


 He raised the dead eg Lazarus and Jairus daughter ( John 11: 38 – 44)

The birth of Jesus.

Prophet Isaiah prophesized the birth of Jesus. After some time Angel Gabriel brought the good news to
Mary. By then Mary was planning to get married to Joseph of Joseph the carpenter. Joseph was advised
by the angel to marry Mary who was to conceive by the power of the Holy Spirit and give birth to a son.
She would name him Jesus and he would save the world. They lived in Bethlehem where Jesus was born.
Now after his birth, the Angel of God appeared to the three wise men from the East to take gifts and see
the new baby. The wise men took gifts i.e myrrh, gold and frankincense to baby Jesus. On their way,
they met king Herod and told him that a king was born. The King told them to come back and tell him
where the baby was if they find him that he would also go and worship him. At night, when they were
sleeping, the Angel of God told them not to go back to King Herod for he would want to kill baby. Jesus
was born in Bathlehem in a kraal and he grew up in a town called Nazareth. Mary and Joseph are the
earthly parents of Jesus and God the Heavenly father
