Event Name: "Hackopolis: The Ultimate Student-Centric Hackathon"

Event Overview:

Welcome to Innovate for Students, a high-energy, innovation-driven hackathon where young


minds come together to design, develop, and present groundbreaking solutions tailored for
students. Whether it’s an app, a tool, a product, or a service, your goal is to create something that
enhances student life—academically, socially, or professionally.

Your mission? Develop a working prototype, pitch your idea, and convince our expert panel that
your solution is the next big thing in student innovation!

Event Rounds:

Round 1: The Ultimate Student Quiz

• Time Frame: 1 hour

Teams will participate in a quiz designed to test their knowledge of technology, business, and
student-related challenges. The quiz will serve as an initial filter to select the most
knowledgeable and prepared teams for the next rounds.

• Judging Criteria:

• Accuracy and correctness


• Speed and efficiency

Round 2: Ideation Sprint (The Concept Draft)

• Time Frame: 3 minutes per team (3 minutes to present, 2 minutes Q&A)

Teams will brainstorm and present their innovative idea tailored to student needs. They must
identify a pressing issue students face and propose a unique, tech-driven or practical solution.
• Deliverables:

• 1 Slider PPT (One Pager)


• Problem statement analysis
• Solution framework
• Prototype idea
• Expected impact on students

• Judging Criteria:

• Originality and innovation


• Relevance to student life
• Clarity of idea and feasibility

• Outcome: Best teams advance to the next round which have higher score.

Final Round: The Startup Pitch (Sell Your Idea)

• Time Frame: 15 minutes per team (11- minute pitch, 4 - minute Q&A)

In this round, teams will pitch their solution as a viable startup or project, focusing on market
potential, funding, and future development. They will role-play as startup founders presenting to
investors.

• What to Cover:

• Solution overview and demonstration


• Business model (target audience, revenue generation, scalability)
• Go-to-market strategy
• Potential challenges and mitigation strategies

• Judging Criteria:

• Business potential and scalability


• Presentation and persuasion skills
• Problem-solving depth and impact on students

Event Highlights:
