Feedback

On the social media platform - Facebook, the program has created a private group
with nearly 30,000 members. This is a space where the program's mentors share
additional supporting materials and provide assistance to participants. To gather feedback
from learners, the program encouraged participation by offering gifts (a U-shaped pillow
or a neck pillow) to users who shared their personal learning experiences from those
courses using the hashtag #chiasenhanqua.

According to a member named Minh Hoang, he said: "The Google Project

Management course is truly an amazing experience for anyone looking to step into the
field of project management! I learned a lot of valuable knowledge, from theory to
hands-on practice. Concepts like planning, risk analysis, and budget management are no
longer difficult to understand. What I liked most was how the course combined theory
with real-world applications. I had the opportunity to work on specific scenarios and
immediately apply what I had learned. In particular, the group exercises and discussions
helped me expand my thinking and learn from others. Additionally, the course helped me
improve my communication and leadership skills, which are essential in today's work
environment. If you're looking for a high-quality yet easy-to-understand course to
enhance your project management skills, Google Project Management is definitely a
choice you shouldn't miss!"

Another feedback from Nguyen Huynh Phung Tien: "Hello everyone, today marks
exactly one year since I started working at my current job. Last year, I got an interview
call because my CV included these two certificates. Last night, I posted on Threads to
share my experience and help more people learn about the scholarship program. But this
morning, I received a comment saying that these two courses are unrelated and that
claiming to have landed a job thanks to them must mean I'm just messing around since
Google only provides surface-level training. I agree that Google's courses only teach the
basics. But it's unfair to say that they are useless. For someone like me, who knew
nothing at the time, they were incredibly valuable. Moreover, Google clearly states that
after completing these courses, learners can apply for entry-level positions. And
honestly, for entry-level roles, this is sufficient. Of course, if you want to advance further,
you need to keep learning. There's nothing wrong with studying while working. I just
wanted to share this so that anyone currently taking these courses feels motivated to keep
going. Also, I want to sincerely thank NIC for this scholarship program. The team not
only provides access to the courses but also offers support throughout the learning
process and even gives out gifts to encourage learners—so thoughtful!"

A short and sincere sharing from Mr. Duc Giang, a statistician with nearly 30
years of experience, advises: "As part of the training program I registered for with the
agency, I participated from March 2024 to December 2024. I have completed the Google
Advanced Data Analytics program and two courses: Google AI Essentials and Data
Analysis with R Programming. All of these courses are highly valuable and practical in
the field of statistics, which I have been working in for nearly 30 years. If you are
involved in data analysis, data science, or statistics, I highly recommend taking these
courses."

Most of the feedback reflects positive responses from learners, ranging from
beginners to those with years of experience. The courses are designed to equip learners
with practical skills, enabling them to apply their knowledge to their work and improve
overall performance.

Task 4: Phân tích các thách thức mà Google gặp phải trong việc triển khai các chương
trình đào tạo, đặc biệt là thách thức về quy mô và tiếp cận nhân viên ở các khu vực nông
thôn.

Limited Internet and Technology Access

Being an online program, Accelerate Vietnam Digital Talent faces many

technology problems. One of the notable problems is lack of stable internet connections
and digital devices in rural areas. Many remote regions struggle with slow or unstable
Internet connections, making it difficult for learners to engage in online learning. In
addition, lack of personal computers forces many to rely on smartphones, which may not
fully support course materials. While the program is free, high costs of technology further
limit access, as low-income learners cannot afford purchasing laptops, stable internet
plans, or upgrading their devices. To address this, Google and NIC could offer subsidized
devices, offline learning options, and community learning places to improve accessibility
and engagement.

Language Barrier

This is one of the major obstacles to this program. As most courses are primarily
in English, it is difficult for non-English speakers to complete the training without
translated materials or localized support. Then learners may rely on translation tools,
which may not always provide accurate explanations for complex topics. Furthermore,
rural workers and students who lack the necessary English skills to understand the
specialized technical term, technical content, follow instructions, or complete
assignments. This may hinder their learning experience, slow down the learning process
and reduce overall engagement to the program.

Training Quality Challenges

There is a shortage of teachers and experts with sufficient expertise to train in

digital skills, especially in remote areas. Training programs can become obsolete if not
regularly updated to align with new technological trends. Measuring and assessing the
effectiveness of digital training programs is challenging, especially since digital skills
often require long-term development.

Customer Age Diversity

Some learners, especially older adults, may feel hesitant or lack confidence in
using new technologies because older people often find it difficult to adapt to new
technologies. To effectively engage older customers, Google may have to incur additional
costs to provide extra support, such as personalized tutorials or dedicated customer
service. To attract elderly individuals, programs need to be specially designed, offer
personalized support, and have a slower pace, all of which increase implementation costs.
Many elderly individuals have limited incomes and may be unwilling or unable to pay for
digital skills training.

Digital talent development programs play a vital role in preparing the workforce for the
digital era. However, to overcome these challenges, close collaboration among
governments, businesses, educational institutions, and communities is essential, along
with significant investment in technology infrastructure, training content, and supportive
policies.
