Since I was a child, I have had a never-ending fascination with the woods. Growing up in Wisconsin, I
have vivid memories of playing in the beautiful woods as a child. The feeling of just exploring and
exploring and never wanting to come inside was magical. I still have that same feeling today when I hike
the wooded trails and hills in my area. I hope it never goes away. When the Forest theme came up for
this issue of Making, Moose seemed like perfect project. This is my first knit Moose design and it is a
really fun adventure to make. This cute, squishy, seamlessly constructed moose comes complete with
antlers and a pine-themed pullover sweater. Thoughts of the forest, the knit moose, and the pine sweater
all create a pretty cozy scene that’s hard to resist.
