(Compared to V2.3.1.50)

Key Updates
[Password Resetting Strategy]
1. Password recovery function has be removed. If users have configuration file backup, then
they may upgrade or re-install the client software and import the configuration file.

[Live View and Playback]


1. Support live view and playback of Advanced H.264, H.265 video streams.
2. Optimize remote playback module.
Time filter
Video hint in the calendar
Previous/next button to go to the previous/next event video in event playback
3. Remote playback searching period show as MM.DD hh:mm.
4. Support configuring the pre-play time for event playback.
5. Support setting the rotate type of the camera for the live view or playback.
6. If the client quits abnormally, it would remain the preview interface after you re-open
it.
7. For full screen auto-switch, you can click Previous or Next button to view the previous
or next camera.
8. Provide Player in the installation directory to view the downloaded file.
9. Support setting the icon display on the toolbar of live view and playback window.

10. Support naming the captured picture. Right –click on the live view and playback
window and choose Other Capture Modes-Custom Capture to edit its name.
11. Support searching video files during up to 31 days.
12. Add Frame Extracting for High-speed Playback interface. When play back the
video in high-speed (8X speed and above), you can disable this function to make the
image of playback more fluent to view the details.

13. The client can get the live video of the offline camera via the stream media server if
the stream media server is configured.
14. Support H.264 decoding by hardware for live view and playback (except Windows
XP).
15. If the devices have multiple two-way audio channels, you can select the channel to
start two-way audio.
16. Support searching the video files which contain POS information (Suitable for back-
ends).
17. Support display fire source information on the live view and playback window.
18. Support Master-slave tracking on the live view window.

[Remote Playback]
1. Support merging the video files when downloading by date.
2. Support scroll down the mouse wheel to play the video files frame by frame.
3. Support zoom in or zoom out via mouse wheel.
4. Support the 16X fast forward speed of the playback.
5. Add the option of selecting playback source: the storage server, or the device, or both.
6. Add alarm input triggered recording playback in Remote Playback.

[Event and Alarm]


1. Support alarm triggered pop-up image and audio status memory function.
2. Optimize the alarm triggered pop-up image function. If picture storage of storage
server is not configured, only video will be displayed.
Tips: If you want to see event message, please double click on the screen display.
3. Add a new way on the control panel to check alarm and event details.

4. Support custom alarm sound as desired.

5. Optimize the alarm triggered pop-up image function. The Prioritize Display of Latest
Alarm is checked by default and the alarm window is in 4-window division.
The latest alarm will replace the earliest alarm window of the displayed four windows.
You can uncheck this checkbox to switch to view the current triggered alarm.
6. Support linkage (image popped up) to other camera in event management.
7. Support smart event triggered recording in storage server. Supported events include
intrusion, line crossing, region entrance, region exiting.
Other Updates
[Product function]
1. Support control panel customization
2. Support up to 256-ch in one group
3. Prompt messages to notify users to modify the storage server port (8000) and stream
media server port (554) when they are occupied.
4. Allow multiple users to get stream from the stream media server.
5. Default dwell time for cycle play add option of 5s.
6. Login dialog display as soon as the software runs.
7. Support Windows 10.
8. Support configuring whether the client prompts the error message if the email is not
configured.
9. Support second confirm type for indoor station when adding Device Type.
10. Support Advanced H.264 stream recording in storage server.
11. Support detailed information prompt when applied failed.
12. Add the Key QR Code generating function when resetting password in the Online
Device Search module.
13. Use the NVR’s password as the IPC’s if necessary when resetting the NVR’s password.
(Need to be supported by the NVR: NVR V3.4.2)
14. Support the protocol type HRUDP.

[NOTE] Only new installation of the W-Box VMS V2.6.1.50 will remove the web client. If
directly updated from the previous version with web client function enabled, the W-Box
VMS V2.6.1.50 will still have the web client function.
17. Add the selection of Enable Keyboard and Joystick.

Add devices in batch:
Input the Guarding Vision Account and password, click Get Device List button to show
the devices added to Guarding Vision account. Then select the devices as desired.
Or Add single device:
Input the device’s required information and this device will be added to the client.
