Easy Perspective

in Architecture

www.sketchdesigncraft.com
One-Point Perspective
Used when the subject is
looking directly at an object’s
face or at a landscape where
we can clearly see the horizon
line.

Two-Point Perspective
Used when the subject is looking
at an object’s corner, mainly for
drawing buildings or interiors.

Three-Point Perspective
Used when the subject is looking
at an object from a high or low
angle, creating a dramatic and
dynamic view. It's often used for
capturing tall buildings or
dramatic angles.

One-Point Perspective

First, trace the horizon line and place a

vanishing point on it. Then, draw the front
side of the box.

Draw the lines from the corners of the

square that converge to the vanishing
point. Any slight mistakes can lead to
distortion in the drawing, so it is better to
use a ruler for this part. End the form by
drawing the back of the box.

Two-Point Perspective

After tracing the horizon line and placing the

two vanishing points, draw the corner of the
square.

Afterwards, trace the converging lines from

the two edges of the corner of the square to
the vanishing points.

Then, draw the other corners. Always use

converging lines to draw every line of the
square.

Three-Point Perspective

After tracing the horizon line and placing

the two vanishing points, place the third
one on the ground plane. Now, start by
drawing the upper face of the box.

Trace the converging lines going from the

corner of the square (upper face of the
box) to the third vanishing point (down).

End the form by drawing the other side of

the box.
