PLURAL NOUNS
GENERAL RULE:
Singular noun + s = Plural Noun Twelve singular nouns ending in –f or –fe change
the –f or –fe to –ves.
Examples: (calf, half, knife, leaf, life, loaf, self, sheaf, thief, wife,
table → tables wolf)

Some nouns have got an irregular plural form.

Singular nouns ending in a consonant + -y Remember:
change the –y to – i + -es = Plural noun. Adjectives do not take –s in the plural.
