Architecture.”
Mechanics
1. Maximum of three (3) A3 size bond paper in a portrait or landscape
orientation. Own project title is required. Ensure the text is legible
when printed.
1st page: Project Title, Overall Concept, Design Objectives, Design
Philosophy, Design Considerations, Material Concept, and Aerial
Perspectives.
2nd-3rd pages: Site Development Plan, Detailed Floor Plans,
Sections, Elevations, Spots, Perspectives, and other pertinent
details.
Kindly label boards from 1-3.
Do not put any identification on the front side of the papers.
2. In regards with the submission, SOFT COPY is only required.
Soft copy versions must be submitted through this Google Drive

names and section labeled as follows: Project Title - Surname 1,
Surname 2, Surname 3, Surname 4, Surname 5
Design entries should be in high-resolution (.pdf format or .jpeg
format).

Guidelines
1. Participation: UAPSA-ULS PAFNAM Design-making
competition is conducted by group basis, allowing participants
to showcase their unique creative visions and skills. This
competition is inclusive only to UAPSA-ULS members of all year
levels. Only one (1) entry per student or group is allowed.
Maximum of five (5) members only per group.
All members should either be a group of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th
year students or mixed year level.
All members must be a member of UAPSA-ULS.
2. Theme Integration: Drawings must be based on and inspired
by the design theme “SINAG NG BAHAGHARI – Fostering
Nation-Building, Hope, & Inclusivity Through
Architecture.” Participants are encouraged to interpret the
theme creatively and integrate it into their design concepts.
3. Rendering Style: Drawings are to be created digitally or
manually and must be rendered. Participants are expected to
demonstrate their artistic abilities and attention to detail
through their rendered outputs.
4. Timeframe: Participants will be allotted five (5) days to
complete their designs. It is essential to manage time
efficiently to ensure the completion of high-quality work within
the given timeframe.
5. Design Entries: Only three design entries per participant are
allowed. After the maximum number of entries, extra entries
won't be accepted. The first three entries will be taken into
consideration. Strictly no names or logos must be added to
each design entry that will be submitted.
Criteria
1. Planning and Concept – 40%
Creativity and innovation in addressing the design
challenge.
Clarity and depth of the overall concept, design
objectives, and philosophy.
Integration of inclusivity, sustainability, and adaptability in
the design.
Relevance of material concept and design considerations
to the project goals.
2. Drafting Techniques – 30%
Quality, precision, and technical accuracy of the drawings.
Presentation skills, including layout organization and
labeling.
Effective use of rendering styles, whether digital or
manual, to enhance visual appeal and communication.
3. Completion – 20%
Completeness of the submission, including all required
details (floor plans, sections, elevations, perspectives,
etc.).
Attention to detail in showcasing the design’s functionality
and usability.
Adherence to the competition’s format and submission
guidelines.
4. Relevance to the Theme – 10%
Alignment with the theme “SINAG NG BAHAGHARI –
Fostering Nation-Building, Hope, & Inclusivity Through
Architecture.”
Effective interpretation of the theme into the design’s
narrative and elements.
